Research And Development Of Urban Underground Pipe Network GIS

Underground pipe network is the important basic establishment of our cities. It is one of the main works for city layout and management using scientific methods to maintain and mange it. By using GIS technology, the scientific dynamic management on underground pipe network can be fulfilled. With DSS principles, the decision or analyzing can be derived. This research work means underground pipe network GIS.Some research in the integration of GIS spatial analysis and underground pipe management are making in this paper. The general methods about the establishment of urban underground pipe network GIS are studied. The computer organization of pipe data is also given.Based on the study above, the research on the produce of spatial topology data in the MapInfo is mainly studied in this paper. The results are used for the spatial analysis of pipe network. At the same time, the estimate arithmetic in the reliability of water supply pipe has been brought forward.
