Mining causes the growing potential geological disasters in mining area while creating wealth and landslide is one of the most important geological disaster types. Especially in the mining area where is population gathering and economic developed, landslide not only threatens the lives and property, but also seriously undermines the mineral resources and the environment. Therefore, the research of landslide evaluation and control in mining area become a much-needed research topic. The purpose of this research paper is scientifically evaluating the landslide stability and its trend, and then providing the basis for the landslide prevention and prediction through landslide stability evaluation. The final purpose is to reduce and prevent the casualties, property damage and mineral resources damage caused by landslides.This paper will examine the mine landslide stability evaluation method and establish landslide evaluation program according to the geological conditions of mining area, landslide causes, deformation features, shape features and other factors. The main contents are as follows:1) Establish the mine landslide evaluation index systemSelect the index according to the characteristics of mine landslide. There are many factors that affect landslide stability, but not all of the factors involves in appraising as the objective conditions. Therefore, it needs to analyze the relationship between the factors and landslide evaluation and select evaluating indexes according to the specific characteristics of the study area. This index system includes three levels and 11 indexes.2) The research of the mine landslide evaluation methodThis study use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to ensure the accuracy and long-term effectiveness. We use AHP to quantify the evaluation index weights according to the specific circumstances of niangniangshan mining area when analyze the influencing factors, and establish an AHP-Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation model to evaluate the landslide stability3) Mine landslide stability assessment The study area is located in baofeng niangniangshan mine area in Henan Province. The landslide is caused by coal mining under the mountain. This study evaluates the landslide stability in the natural and the storm condition, and compares the evaluation results with the conventional stability calculation method to confirm its reliability. Through research, we know the stability of this landslide is poor and need to take appropriate measures to governance.
