A Taxonomic Study On The Genus Rubus In Henan

In this dissertation, the senior's study history of Rubus Linn. was reviewed and summarized. Based on evidence from morphology and geogra- phy,the toxonomical revision of Rubus Linn.in Henan were studied. By identifyin g the specimens and studing the literature, I confirmed the species are add up to 31 species and 6 varieties,which belong to 2 sections and 12 subsections.Three species and two varieties of them, they are:R.eustephanus Focke ex Diels,R. coc hinchinensis Tratt., R.subtibetanus Hand.- Mazz.,two varieties :R. innominatus S. Moore var.quinatus Bailey,R.pungens Camb var. villosus Card. are newly record- ed in Henan. Three names have been revised in Flora of Henan as follows: R. pa- lmatus Thunb. should be R. chingii Hu, R. pungens Camb. Var .indefensus Focke should be R. pungens Camb. var. oldhamii (Miq.) Maxim.,R.biflorus Buch.-Ham. shoud be R. biflorus Buch.-Ham.ex Smith . 8 species and 2 varieties are supplem- ented in Flora of Henan,namely R.eustephanus Focke ex Diels,R.subtibetanus Hand -Mazz.,R.spinulosoides Metc.,R.idaeopsis Focke,R.piluiferus Focke,R.ptiocarpus Yüet Lu,R.cochinchinensis Trat. R.pungens Camb, R.innominatus S. Moore var.quinatus Bailey,R.pungens Camb var. villosus Card. .Mergered1:R. coreanus Miq. var. tomen tosus Card was mergered into R.coreanus Miq. ,R. coreanus Miq. Var. tomentosus Card.are treated as a new synonym of R. coreanus Miq.Moreover, an artificial key to the species of Rubus in Henan was made. The distridutions and habits have been recorded. Some species have been also briefly discussed.
