Bryaceae, which was a larger family in subclan Acrocarpi-Diplolepideae, was the largest family in Bryophyte in Inner Mongolia, except Pottiaceae. It was widely distributed over the world, especially in the Temperate zone. So far,16 genera,1400 species (including varieties) of the Bryaceae have been known in the world, and 11 genera,117 species (including varieties) of that have been known in China. Therefore, by researching on Bryaceae of Inner Mongolia systematically, was not only rich in the flora information of flora in China, but also laid the foundation for "The moss Flora in Inner Mongolia" in the second and English edition, and it also provided the oretiacl basis for the systematic evolution and diversity protection of Bryaceae. Therefore, by researching on characters of anatomical structure and flora of Bryaceae in Inner Mongolia, some conclusions were shown as follows:1:According to statistics,8 genera,34 species and 1 variants of Bryaceae were considered to be taxonomically recognizable entitles in Inner Mongolia. Among them, 3 taxa were recorded new to China:Bryum Kunzei, B. Laevifilum and B. lisae var. cuspidatum.1 species was reported for the first time from Inner Mongolia: Rhodobryum ontariens.2:Preliminary analysis of the Bryaceae components showed that Bryum was the largest genus, comprise 22 species, which made up 62.85 percent of the total number, and showed its important position in Inner Mongolia. Pohlia was the second largest genus, comprise 6 species, occupied for 17.14 percent of the total number. The others only include 1-2 species in each genus. The species composition in Inner Mongolia could be divided 7 parts, namely Cosmopolitan, North Temperate elements, Temperate Asia elements. The three elements respectively percentage was 34.28, 48.57 and 5.71. The Bryaceae in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region showed distinct characteristics of those in Temperate Zone.3:The coefficient of similarity of species showed that the flora of Inner Mongolia was closer genetic relationship with Shandong, Northeast and Tibet, but farthest to Guangdong regions. The statistics of geographical distribution indicate that the southern of Daxinganling Mountain had the highest species diversity (71.43%), Hulunbeier-Xilin Gol Grassland (65.71%) was second to it, the northern of Daxinganling Mountains and Helan Mountain (57.14%) was third to it.
