Study On Taxonomy And Flora Of Orthotrichaceae In Guizhou

The plant of Orthotrichaceae distribute in tempate area.Most species of the Orthotrichaceae occur on the tree,scarcely on the rock.The thesis is based on specimens collected by author and my teachers in Guizhou Provice.According to the 500 packages bryophytes indentified by the author.29 species of bryophytes have been found,which belong to 7 genera. Among them,Macromitrium tosae Besch,Orthotrichum anomalum Hedw and Zygodon obtusifolius Hook are new records to Guizhou Provice.The specimens are deposited in the herbarium of Guizhou University.According to Chen,P-C(1963) system,there are 3 subfamilies,10 genera and 29 species known from Guizhou Provice.The species number of every genus listed as fellows:Macromitrioideae.Schlotheimia.2;Drummondia.1;Macromitrium.11 Macrocoma.1Orthotrichoideae:Orthotrichum.8;Ulota.3Zygodontoideae:Zygodon.3According to these specimens,keys of subfamililies and genera and species of bryophytes in Guizhou have been worked out.Species of some genera have been illustrated.Based on the opinion of Professor Wu Zheng-Yi about the areal-types of Chinese genera of seeds plants,the bryophyte flora of Orthotrichaceae in Guizhou can be classified into 11 geographical elements.East Asian elements and Endemic to China elements make up the majority,approximating to the 35.71% and 28.57%of the entirely known bryoflora in Guizhou,and next come to East Asian elements and Endemic to China elements,accounting for 10.71%.By the comparision of similarities with different floras,the close relation with Orthotrichaceae in Guizhou are Yunnan,Sichuan and Hunna.The plant of Orthotrichaceae distribute in most of pvovice of China,we can see the extensive distribution of Orthotrichaceae.Acoording to the above analysis, I think that Guizhou is one of geographical distribution cores of the family Orthotrichaceae.
