Land Registration Management System Based On ArcGIS Server

Land resources management is an important part of the E-government,and land registration is the foundation of land resources management.It is needed to have the following functions:importing,storing,managing,querying,updating,transporting cadastral maps and documentations,providing cadastral information to the public,supporting registration online,etc.Therefore the land registration system becomes facing internet has the main trend in the world.ArcGIS Server brings high-level GIS functions in the network environment.It not only has highly accessing speed on LAN,but also has loose coupling integration on WAN.ArcGIS Server is the latest network platform which is developed by ESRI and it has good application prospect.This thesis studies the design and development method of the land registration management based on ArcGIS Server.The main work has been done as following:(1) In this thesis,after studying on the technology of ArcGIS Server system,the author chooses three level B/S architecture and ArcGIS Server as the development platform to realize the high func tions of WEBGIS,e.g.,labeling of the main feature,map editing,e tc.It not only has highly accessing speed on LAN,but also has lo ose coupling integration on WAN.(2) In this thesis,with discussing the organization method of spatial data and non-spatial data,the author intends to save and ma nage spatial data in SQL server database through ArcSDE.This me thod achieves to save the two kinds of data in the same database a nd associates them with ID,it provides the complete data service f or the system.(3) In the thesis,the author designs a land registration manage ment system based on B/S.Based on analyzing and comparing the flow and classification of land registration,and then optimizes the r egistration flow.Employing the ArcGIS Server platform with C# de velopment language,the author constructs a land registration manag ement system.This system contains several GIS functional modules such as issuing cadastre information network,inquiring spatial info rmation,editing map.(4) After issuing that the website system,the author tests each f unction of this system.This system can be run smoothly by using browser.It proves that design is correct and feasibility.
