Lixinae belongs to Coleoptera,Curculionidae,which is known about 1200 species in the world and 120 species have been known from China.Lixinae has many kinds of species and distributes all over the world and many species are pests for sugar beet and forest desertification.A systematic study of the subfamily Lixinae(Coleoptera:Curculionidae) from Northeast China are conducted in the present paper.There are mainly three parts in this paper.The first part is introduction.The taxonomic study on Lixinae in the world and in China are reviewed,meanwhile the morphology of Lixinae in Northeastern China are described,and the biological habits.Part two is taxonomy. According to the specimens and literature recorded,there are 30 species of 10 genera belonging to 2 tribes of Lixinae from Northeast China described,including 1 new species: Adosomus subgranulosus sp.nov.,1 new record species from China:Adosomus koreanus Voss, 1937,2 new record species from Northeast China.The identification characteristic and the keys of the genera and species are provided.The morphological characteristics of the species are described,and the colour pictures and genitalia of microscopic examination species are accompanying in this study.The third part is conclusion and argumentation.This paper provided the primary base for systematic study of Lixinae of China.Moreover, it is of great importance in guiding the control of agricultral and forestry pests,and protection of biodiversity in Northeast China.All the specimens examined were deposited in the Insect Collection of Northeast Forestry University,China.
