Ichneumonid, as one of the most important control agents of the pest, was significantly worthy of being studied and applied. On the basis of past three years research, the taxonomy and fauna of family Ichneumonidae from northeast China were studied systematically, many specimens were collected in forest area from northeast China including Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning Province, and numerous documents were synthesized and the domestic and foreign research history and situation of Ichneumonid were reviewed. 162 species belong to 18 subfamilies, 34 tribes, 91 genera from northeast China were described, of which 10 species were identified as new to science, 15 species as new to China. The species new to science are: 1. Zabrachypus carinatus. 2. Epirhyssa liaoningica. 3. Xorides (Xorides) liaoningensis. 4. Ischnoceros kuandianensis. 5. Mastrus minicus. 6. Schenkia obtuse. 1. Lissonota kuandianensis. 8. Acerataspis qingyuanensis. 9. Orthocentrus baiheensis. 10. Platylabus discolor. The species new to China are: 1. Dolichomitus diversicostae (Perkins, 1943). 2. D. dux (Tschek, 1869). 3. D. pterelas (Say, 1829). 4. Theronia laevigata nigra Uchida, 1928. 5. Podoschistus alpensis (Uchida, 1928). 6. Eugalta albimarginalis (Uchida 1928). 7. Poemenia hectica (Gravenhorst, 1829). 8. Xorides (Xorides) irrigator (Fbricius, 1793). 9. Odontocolon spinipes (Gravenhorst, 1829). 10. O. rufum Uchida, 1928. 11. Echthrus reluctator sibiricus (Kokujev, 1903). 12. Apophua stenos (Momoi, 1963). 13. Syzeuctus takaozanus Uchida, 1928. 14. Sympherta kasparyani Hinz, 1991. 15. Rhimphoctona lucida (Clement, 1924).The morphology, host, distribution of the studied species were provide. Keys to subfamilies, tribes, genera and some species were presented in different part of the paper according to their taxonomic system. The morphology of some main species were figured and pictured. An alphabetical listing of the host and species names were given in indexAll the type specimens described herein were deposited in the General Station of Forest Pest Management, the State Forestry Administration of China, Shengyang.
