Preliminary Study On Taxonomy Of Lichen Genus Acarospora Massal. In Xinjiang

The studies of the lichen genus Acarospora Massal. from Xinjiang we-re performed using the methods of morphology, anatomy, geography,chem.-isthy and ecology on the basis of identification of more than 200 speci-mens about 12 locality in Xinjiang.In this study 30 species werereported,reported 20 species new to China,A.assimulans,A.atrata,A.badiof-usca,A.bicolor,A.capensis,A.fuscata,A.gallica,A.glaucocarpa,A.hospitans,A.insolata,A.intersperse,A.impressula,A.laqueata,A.molybdina,A.nitrophila,A.peliscypha,A.rugulosa,A.scabrida,A.umbilicata,A.veronensis。4 species new to Xinjiang,A.cervina,A. sparsa,A.smaragdula,A.strigata.According to the refereces,Acarospora Massal. is widely distributed every parts of the Xinjiang,is 5.16﹪of the same gunes in the world,is the biggest genus of crustose lichen of the Xinjiang.its widely distribution is related to diversity of substratum,special environment of the Xinjiang.The geographical analysis of genus Acarospora Massal. that the follo-wing eight elements can be divided,Circumpolar arctic alpine species;Circ-ompolar low artic and boreal species;American Arctic and Ggreanland sp-ecies;Amphi-Atlantic spcies;Species which are primarily temperate but whi-ch reach into the Arctic;Mediterian-Western Asia-Cental Asia disjunctive element;Mediterian Asia-Cental Asia disjunctive element;Key to species of genus Acarospora.Massal from China given in the present thesis. The descriptions of each taxon of the genus from China are given and the characterized features for them are discussed as well.
