Taxonomic Study On The Lichen Genus Pertusaria From Yunnan

Pertusaria is classified into Pertusariaceae under Pertusariales, Lecanoromycetes,Ascomycota. Thallus crustose, grey, upper surface smooth, rugose, fissured totuberculate, fertile verrucae disciform or perithecioid, asci1~8spores, large, sporewall usually trimmed, a few species with soredia or isidia. Pertusaria is widelydistributed in the world, about525species, at present, forty-seven taxa of the lichengenus Pertusaria from Yunnan have been reported by domestic and foreign scholars.Known as "Kingdom of plants" of Yunnan province is a low latitude,mountainous inland province in the southwest China. Climate types include tropical,temperate, subtropical and cold temperate. Kinds of vegetation types and altitudesgive birth to the rich lichen species. The lichen genus Pertusaria are widelydistributed and various in here.All the specimens examined are deposited in the following herbaria: SDNU,LCU, KUN, HMAS-L, ABL and W. The study of Pertusaria from Yunnan areperformed using the methods of morphology, anatomy, chemistry and geography onthe basis of more than500specimens. Forty-seven taxa belonging to Pertusaria fromYunnan are reported, which discovered and described three species new to scienceand three taxa new to China: P. hengduanensis, P. lijiangensis, P. wangii, P.allothwaitesii, P. colorata, P. rigida.Five misidentified taxa have been revised based on primary sources: P.leptospora, P. sommerfeltii, P. subochracea var. octospora, P. xanthodes, P.xanthoplaca.Thirty-two secondary metabolites are detected to the lichen genus Pertusariafrom Yunnan by Thin-Layer Chromatography.In this paper, the lichen Genus Pertusaria specimens from Yunnan are collatedand identified. The taxonomic characteristics of47taxa are described in detail. Thediscussion with similar species is provided as well, and key to47species ofPertusaria from Yunnan is given. The study provided basic data for the Pertusariales taxonomy study of China.
