A Research For An Information Management Module Of Geo Hazard Emergency Command System

China has a large quantity of geo hazards each year.Those geo hazards, such as the mud rock flow,ground collapse,have caused very great influence to industrial and agricultural production and people's safety of life and property, and cause billions yuan's loss of public wealth. Because of the mutation of geo hazards, the emgergecy command system is an effective tool for a government to harness geo hazards. The information management system and the emgergecy command system are crucial issues in controlling geo hazards and the processes of saving refugees. It is necessary for corresponding departments to build an engerency command system for geo hazard.The author use Visual Basic, Visual Basic.net, and SQL server technique to build an Information Management System for Geo Hazard. Hence the article draws many conclusions.The author develops five modules for Geo Hazard Information Management System, which are surveillance point management module, documents management module for harnessing geo hazard, material management module, human resource management module, and geo hazard information sharing module. Those modules are foundations of the Geo Hazard Information Management System. Furthermore, other modules can be added to this system. All the modules have their independent functions, and a cooperative mechanism in the development of Geo Hazard Information Management System can be achieved.
