The Studies On The Plant Resources In Luofu Mountains And Their Development And Utilization

In order to utilize and develop the plant resources in Luofu Mountains, asurvey on the plant sources and preliminary studies on the Garcinia mutifloraChamp and Rhodomyrtus tomentosa(A. T.)Hassk were done. The results are asfollows:1. There are 1540 kinds of plants in the protection zone. They account for 22% ofthe total plants in Guangdong Province. 26 kinds of plants are the national keyprotection plants. It accounts for 33% of the entire existing National keyprotection plants in Guangdong province. It is the quite rich natural biologyspecies gene bank in Guangdong Province. The endemic species plant in LuofuMountains is rich, including 5 genera and 8 species. There are 20 kinds ofspecies that name after Luofu Mountains. There are many new distributionplants in Luofu Mountain. There are 22 kinds of the species that haven't beenpublished to the public.2. Rhodomyrtus tomentosa(A. T.)Hassk at Luofu Mountains growths faster thanthat at other mountains. Temperature and plant growth regulator haveimportant effects on the growth of Garcinia mutiflora Champ at LuofuMountains.3. According to the present situation of the plant resources in Luofu Mountains, ithas summarized that there are a major part of plants variety that possess a bigdevelopment value resources in Luofu Mountains. The suggestion about howto transform the plant resources superiority into the economical superiority andhow to utilize continuously the plant resources in Luofu Mountains wereproposed.
