Study On Plant Resources And Geographical Distribution Of Qiyao In Qinling Mountains

Based on previous studies and the data of investigations and surveys, this paper discussesand analyzes the species composition and characteristics of Qiyao in Mt. Qinling,geographical distribution patterns, the diversity of the geographical elements. The detailedresult are as follows：1. There are115species of Qiyao plants, which belong to77genera and36families inMt. Qinling. And there are103species seed plants which belong to67genera and27families,8species ferns which belong to6genera and5families,1species bryophytes,2specieslichens and1species fungi among them. The parts used as a medicine are mainly the wholeplant, roots and stems. The medicinal functions of Qiyao mainly include regulating blood toalleviate pain, stopping bleeding, swelling, detoxification, in addition to rheumatism,eliminating stasis.2. There are67genera of seed plants which can be divided into11distribution patternsof Qinling Qiyao. It includes38genera of temperate components and9genera of tropicalcomponents. Geographical elements of kind can be divided into9distribution patterns. Itincludes56kinds of temperate components which has an absolute advantage and indicatesthat the temperate nature of Qiyao flora in Qinling is obvious.3. The horizontal distribution pattern of Qiyao in Mt. Qinling is that the species is poorin the west, more in the east and the most abundant in the middle.4. The species richness of “Qiyao” in Qinling increased rapidly first and then decreasedwith increasing elevation, peaking at the altitudes of1800m. Each group of species richnessall positively related to the width of species range at different altitude, that is the number ofspecies increased as the width of species range.5. There are26kinds of rare and endangered plants of Qiyao in Qinling, which belong to21genera and10families. Among them, there are2species of endangered plants,5species ofvulnerable plants and11species of near threatened plants,3species of rank-1and12speciesof rank-2national conservation wild plants. And there are16species of Qiyao plants inQinling listed in the shaanxi provincial protective plant. The paper proposes the protectionand utilization countermeasures.
