Choose blood chemical markers and microsatellites to estabilish the general genetic picture of the rhesus macaques and cynomolgus macaqus, which breeded in Yunnan National Laboratory Primate Center Of China. The results will provide some basis of the genetic background about primate laboratory animals. In the first part of the article, 8 blood biochemical markers: Vitamin D binding protein (chr.5); Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (chr.X); Adenosine deaminase (chr.10); Transferrin (chr.1); Carbonic diacetate (chr.17); Alkase phosphatase; Carbosyl esterase (chr.2); Peroxidase (chr.14), were chose to analyze the general genetic picture of M.mulatta (120) and M.fasicularis (120). In this article, the gene and genotype frequencies of these loci were counted. For example, only AB genotype was detected in the 2 groups at vitamin D binding protein at chr.5; and 6 alleles and 18 genotypes were detected at locus transferrin in cynomolgus monkeys. POPGEN32 software was used to statistical analyse. In the second part of the article, 89 human microsatellite loci were chose to analyze their amplification efficiency in M. mulatta and M. fasicularis. The loci, with 4 or more than 4 alleles, were chose to analyze the genetical structure of the 2 groups. In this article, the gene and genotype frequencies of these loci were counted. For example, 4 alleles and 6 genotypes were detected at loci D1S207, D8S505, D13S765 in rhesus macaques, and 5 alleles and 7 genotypes were detected at D2S102 in cynomolgus monkeys. POPGEN32 software was used to statistical analyse.
