In recent years, along with the transportation system' s consummation and holiday increasing, our country tourism was developed extremely rapidly. More and more people all hoped that there can be a tourism-guiding information system which collectes introducting, tourism-guiding, organizing and paying expenses to a body. Then the Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System arised at the historic moment. The National Tourism Agency 23rd command stipulated that, from August 5, 2005, Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System was a standard of evaluating the 5A level beauty spot. Obviously Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System already became an indispensable technology in the tourism information development, also became a high scale and high-level symbol of beauty spots.Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System was one kind of tourism information system which was developed based on the computer software and hardware, It was installed on touching-screens. This system mainly serves for the tourists and superintendents. Its goal was based on enhancing the quality of tourism service and tourism management, then propagandizing beauty spot culture, attracting more tourists and enhanceing tourist again tourism rate. In addition, regarding relative superintendents, Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System was also an important carrier and realizing platform of tourism information digitization, In the final analysis, this system was for enhancing the the tourism economic efficiency of tourism beauty spots, serving for the relative superintendents.Tourism was the pillar industry of Leshan. The development resources superiority which Leshan tourism depends on are Leshan Giant Buddha and Mt. Emei. But because Leshan was situated at interior, the tourism began with a low spot, resources planing development level was lower, synthesis service level was low, with its lag necessary infrastructure construction, the tourism resources superiority was not prominent, therefore the Leshan Giant Buddha beauty spot and the Leshan tourism benefit was a little bad. Leshan Giant Buddha Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System' s realization, was a history milestone of digitization and information development of Leshan Giant Buddha and Leshan city. It has the huge function of promoting tourism development both Leshan Giant Buddha beauty spot and the Leshan city.This article studies based on the predecessor foundation, elaborated and discussed the unifying development way of the GIS twice developments theories, the GIS components and the visible programming language, and then based on those theoretical analyses, designed,. realized and discussed Leshan Giant Buddha beauty spot Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System. Its main content and overall frame as follows:First chapter: IntroductionIntroduced the actuality, significance, main research content and so on of this project research.Second chapter: Leshan Giant Buddha outlinesIntroduced the Leshan Giant Buddha beauty spot tourism resources survey as well as the beauty spot value and the status.Third chapter: Related theory and engineering researchAnalysed the geographic information system twice developments ways and plan, the components geographic information system technology, the digitized technology, VB and the database connection technology and so on exhaustively, and proposed theconcrete application plan.Fourth chapter: System analysis and designBased on the demand analysis and feasibility analysis, carried on the system design, the functional design, the database detailed design and the system operation interface design.Fifth chapter: System realizationFirst introduced the system development kits. Then elaborated the technical realization of maps layers operation, graphics operation, information inquiry, statistical analysis, public transportation inquiry, tourism line recommendation, hydrography analysis, three dimensional manufacture detailedly.Sixth chapter: Concluding remarkSummarized the achievement and the existence insufficiency which this article obtains, forecasted to the next research direction.After the endeavor and practice in these months, this article has made the certain progress in following several aspects:(1) This article used existing GIS components MapObjects as platform, developed Touching-screen Tourism-guiding Information System through visible development kit VB. Because touching-screen and the computer operating principle are different, it decided the system realization method was different from other tourism information system, therefore increased the development difficulty.(2) In order to adapt touching-screen operation, all the operations only needed to click on the button to realize. The operation was succinct and direct-viewing. The system interface design took the from the top down and disassemble layers gradually design method. The highest level of interface reflects system main function, other all levels are transferred through the different links by the level transfer.(3) Through the system realization, has established the database for Leshan GiantBuddha beauty spot spot and the tourism correlation profession, the system itself was a database carrier, thus provided supports for the correlation department's digitization, information management and construction.(4) The system does not rigidly adhere to already Touching-screen Tourism- inquirying System, boldly melted the GIS specialized function into the system. Compared already Touching-screen Tourism- inquirying System, this system not only realized the correlation information inquiry, but also realized the link of attribute data and the spatial data, increased the functions of map output, statistical analysis, spatial analysis and so on.(5) The realization of these functions such as information inquiry, charting output, statistical analysis, spatial analysis, provided the auxiliary decision-making for the control section.
