Education curriculum is the characteristic of normal school, and the important ensure of achieving the training goal of normal school. Textbooks are the specific content of courses, the quality of which wilt directly affect functions of the courses. In the setting that the professionalization of teachers and basic education curriculum reform both set higher teaching capability requirements of physics teachers in middle schools, the textbooks using in normal university should make corresponding adjustments. So it has some practical significance to research textbooks of education curriculum.To perfect and develop the textbooks, we need to study the actuality of current textbooks deeply. As there are too many kinds of textbooks, it is not likely nor necessarily to research each book. So in this paper, the first step is to do investigation through network and telephone and other methods ways. In this step we can know the actuality of textbooks and I'll do some brief analyses. Based on this, the second step is to study the main textbooks shown in investigation deeply, that from some hot issues of discussion by researchers in recent years to analyze. Hope to make a general understanding of the textbooks of current physics teacher professional education curriculum.The results of the two studies.:(1) There are many kinds of textbooks using in education curriculum of pedagogic specialty of physics, some are old textbooks, most of which are new textbooks published in recent years. This reflects the study in this field advance rapidly, which lay the foundation of the development of the textbooks and perfection of the level of normal education.(2) The textbooks in using are relatively concentrated. The actuality of these textbooks using in three educational curriculums are very similar. Although there are many kinds, only one or two textbooks used widely, the others are used by only one or two schools.(3) The system of textbooks is still affected by the traditional pattern, but some have the innovative attempt, which reflects the traditional system still has deep influence, but textbooks are trying to rid from the shackles of traditional systems and to make Chinese characteristics.(4) Textbooks of "physics teaching pedagogics" combine theory and reality closely. While about whether the textbooks of "pedagogics" and "psychology" should have a strong practice guidance or not, if see from the view of what task they should complete, it still needs further research.(5) Features of the times are reflected in the majority of textbooks, and keeping up the step with the new curriculum reform has attracted the attention of authors. H(?)wever, it yet to be further strengthened. Generally speaking, the relative content are simple, and the proportion is still deficient compared to other contents. This can help students understand the curriculum reform, but still needs further strengthening.(6) The crossover phenomenon is not obviously, each textbook has its own subject character.
