Birds Community Analysis And Birds-watching Routes Design Of Birds-watching Area In Spring In Zhalong Nature Reserve

During spring of 2003 and 2004, birds resources was investigated by line transect sampling method in Zhalong Nature Reserve. The dominance of birds calculated by RB, the community diversity of birds in the three routes evaluated by thePielou distribution biodiversity index, Pielou evenness index and Shannon-Wiener index and the similarity of birds community compared by Jaccard ratio were analysed. Birds community diffrences was compared in early, middle and late spring.Based on the result of community analysing, watching-birds routes was designed using ArcViewGIS, which integrate GPS locating. Three best watching places were established on routes A, B and C seperately.In order to provide information for watching-birds tourist management, daily environment bearing capcity was calculated. That of route A was 3199, route B was 3037 and route C was 3305.The purpose of the study was to put forward the reasonable suggestion of watching-birds tourist management in Nature Reserve.
