The Design And Development Of TGIS For Yuhua Scenic Spot

Nowadays the presentation and spreading of tourism information plays a more and more important role.GIS enjoys exceptional advantages in the management of tourism information and in dealing with the spatial factors. Therefore, it is imperative to build TGIS. Yuhua Scenic Spot is one of the key scenic spots in China. The type of scenic resources boasts various and rich. The Town and Country Planning and Designing Research Institute of FuJian Province, began to carry out the program of general planning and designing of Yuhua Scenic Spot in 2002.Based on the above reasons and conditions, this paper designed the TGIS for Yuhua Scenic Spot. This system employs GIS software and its expanded modules such as Spatial Analyst, Dialog Designer and so on.
