The mountainous region is an important component of the system, which supports the life on earth, and is a foundation, which concerns the survival and development of ecosystem on the earth. With the increasing of population and the development of society and economy, the "water tower" function of the mountainous region is more and more important, at the same time there are abundant living resources in the mountainous region, it is the key district of the bio-diversity in the globe. Compared with the other complex ecosystems, the ecosystem of mountainous region is more instability and fragility. If the intensity of the human activity exceeds the bearing ability of the ecosystem of mountainous region, the degradation of the ecology will be becoming more and more serious, the pollution of the environment will be aggravating, the reverse performance of ecosystem of mountainous region will be becoming more and more obvious, and its process is accelerated. At present, the researching work on the ecosystem of the mountain region has been launched in many aspects in the world. In our country, the most relevant researches in the ecosystem of mountainous region have been concentrated in the southwest, which start later in the vast northwest and there are a few achievements. In consideration of the above analysis, choosing Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River as the researching area; regarding its ecosystem of mountainous region as the researching object; and analyzing the dynamic change, reason of change, and coordination degree of the ecosystem of the mountainous region, to offer the scientific theoretical foundation for the coordinated development of the ecosystem of Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River, at the same time, also to offer reference for the coordinated development of the ecosystem of the mountainous region in Northwest. The thesis is divided into six parts altogether.First part has explained the background of the selected title and the domestic and international research progress in the ecosystem of the mountainous region. On this basis, this part has described the basis of the selected title, the researching meaning and the theory and method of research.Second part has summed up the survey of Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River, and the composition and structure of the ecosystem of its mountainous region. Narrating the natural environment of the ecosystem of Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River from position, area, topography and landforms, climate, water resource, vegetation, soil, and so on; Sketching the social economic situation of the ecosystem ofmountainous region in researching area from such respects as people, nationality, GDP, per capita net income, etc. and explaining the composition and structure of the ecosystem of mountainous region of researching area in detail from three following respects: the forest ecosystem, the grassland ecosystem and the farmland ecosystem.The third part has analyzed the dynamic changes of the ecosystem of Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River. Firstly, analyzing the dynamic changes and the problems existing in the forest ecosystem in the researching area; Secondly, taking Xishui natural conservation station as the example, vectoring the picture of Forest construction in Xishui natural conservation station through using Arcview and Arc/info software, and utilizing the landscape indices to analyze the changes and problems of the arbor forest and bush forest in the forest ecosystem. In addition, analyzing the dynamic changes and the problems existing in the grassland ecosystem and the farmland ecosystem.The fourth part has analyzed the reasons of the dynamic changes of Sunan mountainous region of mainstream of Heihe River. Thinking there are two mainly reasons influencing the coordinated development of the ecosystem of the mountain region, one is the natural reason, the other is man-induced reason.
