Ordos as the study area, based on the Inner Mongolia autonomous region by means of 3 s technology, the use of remote sensing data from 1990 to 2012 as the main data sources, obtained through interactive visual interpretation(1990-1990,2000-2005, 2005-2007, 2007-2005, 2009-2012),five stages of ordos status of land desertification and desertification landscape dynamic change data. The results of the study are as follows:1. 2012 landscape present situation of desertification, desertification is more serious in the study area. Desertification area of 6542817.21 hm2,accounting for 75.34% of the area in the study area, including mild,moderate, severe desertification desertification desertification area of2729026.17 hm2, 1885156.02 hm2, 1928635.02 hm2, respectively account for 34.42%, 21.71%, 22.21% of the study area.2. Desertification landscape pattern index variation characteristics:from the level of landscape type index changes, the 1990-2012, the landscape fragmentation is very high, in the study area of desertification landscape patches is more and more widespread, landscape mutual connection degree is high, the whole landscape spatial heterogeneity in strengthening, in addition to the residents and industrial and mining land use landscape patches appear simple, rule out other landscape patches are present complex irregular change, reflect the intervention of human activities on landscape function continuously strengthen. Landscape index changes, the degree of landscape fragmentation in the study area,heterogeneity, diversity index, evenness index is less volatility, patch shape present irregular volatility tends to complex, landscape is connected between the degree of volatility is less. Landscape types distribution in towards the direction of the uneven development, which control the landscape in strengthening the influence of landscape types, reflecting the wholelandscape to develop in the direction of desertification trend.3.Desertification landscape space transfer matrix, the overall trend is not between desertification and desertification landscape, the each other between different levels of desertification landscape transformation.Between 1990 and 2012, the desertification landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of 1080605.4hm2, including transfer into mild wind erosion and desertification landscape, wind erosion and desertification landscape, moderate severe wind erosion and desertification landscape area of 597606.90 hm2,431208.23hm2, 51790.27 hm2. And from desertification landscape into a landscape of desertification area of480545.62 hm2, It can be seen that desertification landscape area is greater than the landscape of desertification area,including mild wind erosion and desertification landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of306854.73 hm2, moderate wind erosion and desertification landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of 110293.20 hm2, severe wind erosion and desertification landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of 63397.69 hm2. River landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of 16111.48 hm2, residents of mining land landscape transfer into a landscape of desertification area of 8943.42 hm2, In conclusion,1990-2012 years increased desertification landscape area, ordos desertification development significantly, but local reverse desertification phenomenon also is common.
