Objective: In order to find out and grasp the biological characters of SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbit, the author cultivated SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbit through biology-cleansing , then carried out a series of primary studies on it' s growth-development, blood physiological and biochemical composition, primary viscera quotiety, electrocardiogram and compare them with CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbit' s.Method: We adopted germfree caesarean section and artificial suckling to make CV New Zealand Laboratorial rabbit biology-cleansing and cultivate SPF New Zealand Laboratorial rabbit. We carried out observing, recording, contrasting study on the growth-development of SPF and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbit. We tested successively blood physiological and biochemical indexes with routine methods, ten primary viscera quotieties (viscera weight/ body weight X 100% ), electrocardiogram of the SPF and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbit in narcotism with heating-pen electrocardiograph, animal heat and respiration rate with routine methods, and so on.Result: The twenty-four of four cotes rabbit babies' firstborn livability is 100% gained from the germfree caesarean section. The livability of the twenty-two survivals thirty day age after weaning is 91. 7% and the mean body weight is 478. 9g. The meanincreasing weight between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits has no difference(P>0.05) . The rest blood physiological indexes' difference is significant (P<0.01) but white blood cell, lymphocyte, neutrophil Leucocyte between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits(P>0. 05). The blood biochemical indexes between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits such as total protein, Blood urea nitrogen, Triglyceride, have no difference(P>0. 05), but uric acid is different (0. 010. 05). The ten primary viscera quotieties are different significantly(P<0. 01) except for Adrenal gland between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits (P>0. 05) . The seven primary viscera quotieties are different significantly(P<0.01) except for Heart, Lung, Stomach, Adrenal gland between male and female of SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits (P>0. 05) . The heart rate, every wave' s form and swing, every wave segment' s interphase on electrocardiogram all have no difference (P>0. 05) between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits. The respiration rate and animal heat are different significantly (P<0. 01) between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits, but the heart rate, respiration rate and animal heat all have no difference (P>0. 05) between male and female of SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits. Conclusion: The rabbit babies that were born in the germfree caesarean section and fed with artificial suckling were moved from breeding isolation container to barrier system. They accorded with the standard of SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbit through the examining, so they were awarded the certificate up to standard by the office of science and technology of Guangdong. The experiment proved barrier system didn' t do obvious harm to SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbit, moreover, the growth-development performance of SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbit in the barrier system was a little better than that of CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbit, but this difference has no statistics meaning. There are significant difference between SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits and CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits on blood physiological and biochemical indexes, ten primary viscera quotieties, animal heat, respiration rate. SPF New Zealand laboratorial rabbits were the same as CV New Zealand laboratorial rabbits on electrocar...
