Comparison study on the photosynthetic physiology between Spirulina platensis and S. erdosensis from Mo Su Sands, Inner Mon- golia and the imported S. platensis and S. maxima. The results show: th- ere are more resemble in the pigments and the spectrum of S1,S2,S3,S4 , the content of chlorophyll a is 7.0726-13.8719 mg/gDW, the content of carotenoid is 1.5178-2.1079mg/gDW,the total content of phycobilin is 97.8605 -191.1241mg/gDW. The correlated analyse indicate that the content of phyco- erythrin and allophycocyanin are much obviously correlated with the biggest net photosynthetic a day. The pigments have strong fluorescence all. In the di- urnal changes of the photosynthetic, the biggest net photosynthetic rate are appear at 13:00 all, which are 23.4507-83.5896mgO2/gDW.h, i.e. S1>S3>S4>S2. The lightcompensation point is 25-30μmol/ m2.s. The lightsaturation point is 150-235μmol/ m2.s. The biggest respiration is 8.3585-13.2824 mgO2/ gDW.h. The special species S. platensis in Inner Mongolia has the highest value of the content of pigments, the biggest net photosynthetic rate, the highest lightcom- pensation and lightsaturation. has the lowest value of the respiration (24℃).
