With the booming of the knowledge economy, the needs of the society tend to be more team-working and potential-expanding. This diversified demand raises a serious research project for modern education.Positive reforms and explorations have been taken in both theory and practice, different countries dedicate their best to achieve the purpose of college education and promote the personal and social development. Among them, Howard Gardner, professor of Harvard University, says that there are various kinds of human intelligence proposing a new type of smart structures -- Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Multiple Intelligence Theory's putting forth brings the world deeply influence while wildly used.College Students'humanistic and scientific literacy related to the high-level education of society, economic, technology, and cultural development. And this is a really important problem in multiple intelligence theory. We are sure that students will have a better develop in enhancing their multiple intelligences by using the Multiple Intelligence Theory to research personal training in college education.As to physics, the modern conception of physical teaching is that college Physical education can help people both in cognitive area and the area of develop besides its own educational function. But combining the characteristics of physics itself, the Multiple Intelligences Theory puts forward a different point of view. The theory emphasizes that developing student's intelligence is as important as spreading and mastering the knowledge we already have, for helping students possess a noble moral character and form a scientific outlook will have deeply influence on personal training.With the deepening of the reform in Physics experiment teaching system, its teaching model is getting diversely. More attention is paid to the comprehensive and designative experiments. Putting the Multiple Intelligence Theory into college physics teaching practice have a significant meaning in helping students with different potentials and learning methods better adapt to the different development requirements, and motivate their potential.This paper was guided by professor Howard Gardner and his Multiple Intelligences Theory, and to lead students with different potentials and learning methods to better adapt the collage physics.It also inspires students to motivate their potential, develop their multiple intelligences, and to seek new concept of Physical teaching.
