Investigation On Art Creation Class In Heilongjiang Reclamation Area From 1970 To 1991

The Art Creation Class in Heilongjiang Reclamation Area(hereinafter referred to as the Art Class)refers to an art creation organization that was organized between 1970 and1991 by the cultural and educational propaganda departments of the Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps and the Heilongjiang Farm General Administration,and selected amateur authors at the grassroots level in stages,batches,and for consecutive years to concentrate on the production of art works.The creative class experienced two periods of administrative subordination,belonging to the art class of the Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps during the period of the Cultural Revolution.Most of its members were "knowledge youth" who came from major cities across the country to work in grassroots units under the Corps at that time,;Belonging to the art class of the period under the Heilongjiang Farm General Administration,it continued until the reform and opening up,and most of its members were local youth from grassroots units under the Farm General Administration.However,there are no significant differences in the organizational form,talent selection methods,and creative models of art classes from different periods before and after.The main administrative manager and business guidance are the famous printmaker Hao Boyi.During its more than 20 years of establishment,this art class has gained a reputation in the Chinese art community for continuously producing a large number of excellent art works(some of which have gained world reputation),and after its completion,it has still been widely praised by society for cultivating many famous star artists who later became famous in the Chinese art community.The mentor role of its organization and mentor,unique and effective training methods,the talent display of a group of students,and the stunning beauty of excellent works all together constitute the legend of the art world in that special era.This article objectively states the formation process,organizational methods,working methods,and data on talents and works of the art class in the reclamation area through a large amount of historical materials and interviews with individuals.It analyzes and demonstrates its unique talent cultivation methods and its inspiration for art education work.It summarizes the historical experience of the art class in the reclamation area in terms of creation and talent cultivation,which to some extent supplements the shortcomings of existing research,It also provides a new perspective and historical data for the history of modern and contemporary Chinese art,especially the local art history of Heilongjiang.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the historical background of the establishment of the art class in the reclamation area,mainly an overview of the historical facts of Beidahuang printmaking since 1958.Chapters 2 to 3provide a detailed description of the organization,personnel composition,and creative status of the art class in the reclamation area before and after the two stages.This includes an analysis of the important turning point of the art class’ s creative style(from oil printing to watermark),as well as recognition of Hao Boyi’s role as an organizer and art mentor in the art class.The fourth chapter is based on the perspectives of art creation and art education,summarizing the experience of the creative path and training mode of the art class in the reclamation area,and obtaining a regular understanding of art creation and art education.
