As my country's economic development level is underdeveloped,the western region has affected the education of the entire region,including the development level of higher education.The development of higher education should be based on talents.As a part of higher education,sports should attach importance to sports talents.In the past,the research on physical education talents in colleges and universities paid more attention to the issues of what physical education teachers should do and how to do it.Now I change the perspective to study what kind of environment and conditions the country and schools can provide for physical education teachers in western universities,Encourage physical education teachers to devote themselves to teaching and scientific research,stimulate teachers' initiative and professionalism,and truly realize "Teacher-oriented".The system is highly related to the professional development of physical education teachers.The system is the "direction" of the professional development of physical education teachers in colleges and universities,guiding teachers' value and behavior selection.It is precisely based on this that the professional development of physical education teachers in western universities is studied from the system perspective,and the professional requirements and job nature of physical education teachers are considered from the perspective of physical education discipline development.Distribution system,incentive system,training system,etc.,with a view to providing reference for the renewal and improvement of college systems in the western region.In this study,the professional development of physical education teachers in colleges and universities in the western region is studied through the method of literature data,survey method,comparative research method and mathematical statistics method.The research content includes:(1)Sorting out the macro-systems that affect the professional development of college physical education teachers issued by the country and provinces after the founding of the People's Republic of China.According to the influence of the system on the professional development of physical education teachers in colleges and universities,combined with the changes in the political environment,economic and social development,and educational strategy adjustments after the founding of the People's Republic of my country,the evolution of the school system is divided into three stages.Understand the main systems at each stage,grasp the current policy hotspots,predict the future system trends,and provide a policy basis for the professional development of physical education teachers in the western region.(2)Conduct empirical research on the professional development of physical education teachers in colleges and universities in western my country through questionnaire surveys,and obtain the actual situation of physical education teachers' professional development,the main characteristics presented and the potential connections related to professional development.Specific methods such as factor analysis,analysis of variance,structural equation and regression analysis are used to verify theoretical models and research hypotheses,and make recommendations based on the research results.(3)Obtain the school system and expert opinions of 13 colleges and universities in the western region through the interview method,and get a detailed understanding of each school's system closely related to the professional development of physical education teachers,its implementation status and existing problems.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)After the founding of New China,schools have attached great importance to physical education,the curriculum content is mainly based on sports,and the training of university physical education teachers focuses on "sports specialization".The system is highly unified,and the training and training,appointment system,evaluation system,promotion system,salary system,etc.,that treat all teachers equally have been initially established.After the end of the Cultural Revolution,various sports schools,departments,and normal universities have adopted various methods to train sports talents;the assessment system has entered the quantitative assessment stage;the title promotion system has been restored;the salary system has undergone several reforms;and the professional and technical job appointment system has been implemented.In the 1990 s,the college physical education teacher training network system was basically completed;the salary system was continuously improved;the assessment system entered a period of classified exploration;the power of professional title evaluation was delegated,and the system reform entered a new period.(2)Through questionnaire surveys,descriptive statistical results are obtained.Through independent sample t-test and analysis of variance,it is found that the demographic variables gender,age,educational background,annual income,teaching time,and school characteristic variables,school location,province,enrollment of sports graduates,classification assessment,classification title evaluation,are in the professional development There are significant differences in one or some dimensions.Through regression analysis,it is found that certain variables and dimensions have a positive and direct impact on teaching development,scientific research development,promotion of professional titles and salary growth.Through into two categories: one is to formulate the necessary and optional conditions for the evaluation of professional titles;the other is to quantitatively score.In the evaluation of professional titles,most colleges and universities have already conducted classification evaluations.Some colleges and universities regard academic qualifications as a restriction.An important aspect that affects the evaluation of professional titles of physical education teachers is whether to include competition results.However,the regulations of each college are different,and sports are not highlighted.The particularity of teachers.Performance appraisal highlights quantitative standards.The annual appraisal system of each school is not the same,but it focuses on the assessment of teaching and scientific research,and teaching accounts for a larger proportion.The school's further education and training system is clear,the assessment system is not comprehensive,the rewards for teaching and competition training are insufficient,and the satisfaction of the salary system is low.According to the problems in the research,the following suggestions are put forward: National policy guidance is the fundamental path for the professional development of physical education teachers in western colleges and universities;the university system is an effective guarantee for promoting the professional development of physical education teachers in the western region;improving self-understanding is to promote the professional development of physical education teachers in western colleges and universities Internal power.
