| Historically,marriage has been called differently in different regions and ethnic groups.This study respects the folk custom of Guoshanyao,and calls "entering a marriage" "entering a marriage".In the north of Guangxi,it is not only popular in the society of Guoshanyao,but also the way of recruitment is different due to the restriction of family first concept and family economy.After the reform and opening up,the way of shanyao zhaolang marriage in northern Guangxi has changed significantly with the passage of time.Gradually from a single line of succession system based on marriage to ambiguous succession system based on the top two recruit husband marriage.As for the origin of yao zhaolang marriage,this study holds that the zhaolang marriage of Yao originally originated from the extramarine marriage of matriarchal society.In addition to the demand for life and production,family economy and social endowment,the core factor that makes the marriage of the Yao ethnic group spread so far is to solve the problem of family continuity and family succession.However,the traditional custom of the Yao society is the cultural hotbed for the inheritance of today’s marriage.At present,in north Guangxi,the single lineage and the ambiguous succession coexist,but the ambiguous succession is the main way of the marriage.In the single-line succession system,the man can only inherit the patriarch and family property of the man’s family or the woman’s family,while in the ambiguous succession system,the top two men can not only inherit the patriarch and property of the man’s family and the woman’s family,but also become the elderly bearer of the parents of the man’s family and the woman’s family.Generally,the single line of marriage can only solve the problem of family succession in the families with children and no children,but not the problem of family succession and family pension in the families with only children on both sides.The double marriage of ambiguous succession system not only solved the problem of succession and family pension in the wife’s family,but also solved the problem of succession and family pension in the husband’s family,so that the two only child families can continue,not only meet the needs of people’s reproduction,but also maintain the stability of social groups.This is an important reason why equivocal succession can replace single-line where yao population is widely distributed,this study takes guoshan Yao in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Guangxi and Babu District of Hezhou City as the investigation object,and carries out a comprehensive and systematic investigation and research on contemporary Guoshan Yao Zhaolang’s marriage from the perspective of succession system.The paper holds that the marriage pattern of the top and the bottom of the family system is of great academic value and theoretical significance to the reform and development of the marriage and family system in China’s rural areas.The top and bottom of ambiguous succession is not only conducive to solving the problem of providing for the elderly in rural China,but also conducive to changing the preference for boys in Yao areas,which further improves the family status of rural Women in China and objectively promotes the communication and integration between Yao and other ethnic groups.Accelerated and nanling corridor region north Guangxi ethnic groups blend mutually exchanges and communication,and the historical process of mutual recognition,enriched the formation of the community of the Chinese nation and form the cultural connotation of diversity in unity of the Chinese national culture,to promote national unity,cast up the Chinese nation community consciousness,further construction of the national total of home is of great
