In the process of social development,due to population mobility,inter-ethnic communication is deepened.In order to adapt to the overall social and cultural environment,Buyi ethnic group adjust their marriage rituals.They not only tolerate multiculturalism and accept new things,but also retain the characteristics of ethnic marriage customs and pay attention to the inheritance of ethnic culture under the maintenance of their own ethnic consciousness.The Buyi marriage ceremony continues the core process of the traditional "the six ceremonies of betrothal and marriage",which just reflects the strong vitality of the Chinese nation’s marriage ceremony.At the same time,the dissemination of the new media era also contributes to the strengthening of the sense of community for the Chinese nation.Taking W Village,Changshun County,Guizhou Province as a case study,obtained field data through field observation and in-depth interview,followed the perspective of ritual and social change,and made a diachronic dynamic investigation of Buyi rural marriage rituals by using transitional etiquette theory and cultural change theory.Under the background of social change,this paper discusses the changing aspects,cultural adaptation,cultural inheritance and influence of Buyi marriage ritual.First of all,it is necessary to elaborate the four aspects of the 1960 s marriage customs of Buyi,including matchmaking,engagement,marriage and "living with Mother’s family".And then it summarizes the changes of Buyi marriage rituals,including the modern marriage customs of the Buyi.It also elaborates on the four aspects of the current Buyi matchmaking,engagement,marriage and return mother’s family,so as to understand the content of the modern marriage rituals of the Buyi in general.At the same time,it mainly describes the changes of folk songs in the wedding ceremony,the change of betrothal gifts and dowries,and ritualized "Circulation of gifts".The reasons for the change are analyzed from three aspects:economy,education and culture.The above three factors jointly promote the changes of Buyi marriage ritual in the process of modern society.Moreover,in W village,there is a phenomenon that the Full Moon Feast and the wedding party are held at the same time,or the belated wedding is held.People announce the fact of getting married to the rural society through this form of wedding ceremony,which is not only to eliminate personal regrets,but also to make up for the "arrogation" of the traditional concept of marriage and fertility etiquette.Attitudes for unmarried pregnancy phenomena by the ban to tolerance,and because fertility makes adjustments for marriage.Fringe etiquette is still retained in the marriage ceremony,but for the pregnant bride,fringe etiquette is just a ritual activity carried out in accordance with the tradition,not a state of uncertain identity.They are clearly aware of their own identity,and childbirth is the node of identity transformation of the pregnant bride.Finally,the mainly discusses of the cultural inheritance of Buyi’s marriage rituals,including the continuation and inheritance of Buyi’s culture of "using custom to combine rituals",including the continuation and inheritance of the marriage song culture and a discussion on how to return dowry to "etiquette".Meanwhile,the concept of marriage is shaped in the wedding instrument,which is promoting stability with children and the conjugal relationship of love and equality.At last,the function of the rural wedding is to keep and enhance the mutual construction of rural social network relations.It makes the rural social relations caused by social mobility fade and change.
