The Study Of South Guizhou Yanghuang Uxorilocal Marriage

Yanghuang,living in the mountainous area of southern Guizhou,but called their“Maonan”in law.Logically,Yanghuang is Maonan,but Maonan is not always Yanghuang.Yanghuang society follow the way that partnership paradigm works in a patriliny principle and emphasizes their status and position of inherent quality,according to seniority in the family member,also emphasized individual efforts and achievements of acquired,equality with others between competition,it is a patriarchal house society.In such a patriarchal society has a lot of uxorilocal marriage,which accounts for roughly one-third of all Yanghuang marriage modes.The article focuses on uxorilocal marriage of Yanghuang,to full range of ecological environment,kinship and cultural custom of Yanghuang display,to discussed the uxorilocal marriage on the background of Yanghuang social.Based on the field data,use the theory and research method of anthropology,such as Descent Theory,Alliance Theory,Ritualthepry Theory and Social Gender Theory to study of Yanghuang’s uxorilocal marriage.so,in this paper the main points to analyse uxorilocal marriage structurally of southern Guizhou Yanghuang are is follows:Firstly, as one of the few people living in the mountains of southern Guizhou, the formation of Yanghuang culture and its ecological environment, at the same time limit and the effect of ecological environment on Yanghuang culture so that they formed a kind of cultural background and inheritance system, which is the primary problem to be solved in this paper.Secondly, uxorilocal marriage in Yanghuang the unique cultural background, will have what kind of meaning and characteristics, this paper from the macro to discuss the problem.Tirdly, Uxorilocal marriage as an institution of marriage, how is the vertical and Yanghuang human hair associated descent system, it is how to influence the Yanghuang Human Kinship System, this article from the micro of Yanghuang people uxorilocal marriage of substantial analysis to solve the main problem.Finally, how to put the three organically, to explore the social forms and characteristics of Yanghuang descent of man is the focus of this pape.
