ObjectiveIn this study,we analyzed and compared the clinical effect of umbilical acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture alone in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and explored whether umbilical acupuncture as an additional acupuncture method is more superior in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. And provide realistic basis for the clinical promotion of umbilical acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation.MethodsThe 100 subjects meeting the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria of this study were randomly divided into two groups at a ratio of 1:1,namely the treatment group(umbilical acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture group)50 cases, and the control group(ordinary acupuncture group)50 cases example. The treatment course of the two groups was 4 weeks, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared with the JOA(Japanese Orthopaedic Association)Low Back Pain Evaluation Form, the Short Form Mc Gill Pain Questionnaire(MPQ),and the Short Form for Quality of Life Measurement(WHQOL-BREF)Establish a database of scale scores obtained at different time points, and use SPSS23.0 for statistical analysis.ResultsIn the end,86 subjects completed the entire experiment. Before treatment, the gender, age, course of disease and the JOA rating scale,MPQ,WHQOL-BREF scores of the two groups before treatment were compared at baseline. After statistical analysis, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05),indicating the two groups Comparable between. After 4 weeks of treatment, the JOA rating scale,MPQ and WHQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were compared within the group. After treatment, the scores were significantly improved compared with before treatment, and there was statistical significance(P<0.01),indicating the two treatments the method is effective for lumbar disc herniation;after 1 week of treatment and 2 weeks of treatment, the difference in JOA score and MPQ score between the treatment group and the control group is statistically significant(P<0.01).By comparing the difference in JOA score between the two groups,it can be seen that the treatment group takes effect faster than the control group. In the MPQ score, the treatment group also has obvious advantages in comparison at the end of the treatment course. In the WHQOL-BREF scores in various fields, the treatment group also showed obvious advantages;in terms of overall clinical efficacy, both groups showed good clinical efficacy in treating the disease.Further analysis and comparison showed that the treatment group had a cure rate of 86.36%.The cure rate of the control group was 64.29%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),suggesting that the umbilical acupuncture combined with the ordinary acupuncture group is better than the ordinary acupuncture group in the cure rate.Conclusion1.Umbilical acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture group and ordinary acupuncture group can improve the pain degree of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, improve the patient's ability to work in daily life and waist mobility, and effectively improve the quality of life of patients, both are an effective method for clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation.2.The therapy of umbilical acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture group has obvious effect in alleviating patients' pain, and it takes effect faster than ordinary acupuncture group in improving functional activities and quality of life.3.The umbilical acupuncture has fewer points, less pain, easy to accept by patients, relatively simple to operate, safe and effective, and it is worthy of further study.
