From Architectural Imaging To Imaging Architecture Studies On Architectural Thinking From The Perspective Of Image

This study ascertains the fact that architecture is isomorphism of "object" and image,and analyzes it from the perspective of cognition of architecture,relevant process between architectural image and architectural entity.The author argues that the original image(object image)of the architectural entity is generated through the architectural process,which is isomorphic to the architectural entity,and that there is no architectural entity independent of the image.The "isomorphism" and "symbiosis" of architecture and image are important properties of architecture.The thesis analyzes the creation,interaction and internal relations between the architectural ontology and architectural images,and interrogates the role,value,cultural and media attributes of the architectural image.When the original image of the building is painted or photographed,such technology acquisitions become derivative images and enter the cultural form,showing their significance in scientific research,education,communication and other fields.This study follows the trajectory of the history of architectural images,distinguishes between the primary and secondary images of buildings,and defines the scope,expression and recording methods of architectural images.Starting from the generation of architectural ideas,the construction of architectural entities,and the expression of architectural art,this study analyzes the internal connections and symbiotic relationships between architecture and images,and clarifies the internal attributes and external representations of images to architecture,the definition of architectural images,and the relationship between the two.This thesis argues that the appearance and structural characteristics of architectural images are not only expressions of its noumenon image,but also an important basis for theoretical research,architectural design,aesthetic research and architectural criticism.At the same time,the concept and coverage of(non-entity)image architecture are defined.The process of architectural design and construction is the concrete embodiment and realistic projection of logical image of thinking.The formation mechanism of architecture from thinking to entity is further discussed.It is believed that the process of architectural "thinking" can still be used when architectural entity no longer exists or is "not built".The state of non-entity,is the way images exist and occur.In the non-entity situation,the building image relies on the computer generated image,virtual reality technology,movies and games and other ways and means to express independently,forming a virtual building.This has become an important way of thinking transmission,concept inheritance,aesthetic feeling and architectural learning,and also a phased non-entity achievement of architectural design.Through the research and analysis of the architecture expressed in the image–that is,the "unfinished" building that shows the architect's ideas,the building in the movie and the building in the game–this study shows that the imaging architecture will eventually become an important part of the architectural concept display,an important method of architectural design,which can be used as the image virtual building before the entity building,and can be thoroughly used in the game and movies teaching and other fields concerning pure imaging architecture.Through analogy,deduction and examples,this thesis discusses the relationship between architecture and logical thinking.Through the logical demonstration of the spiritual image of thinking,this thesis explores the philosophical relationship between consciousness and architectural generation,and the endogenous relationship between thinking and image,super image and its reaction.On this basis,this study further redefines the research direction of architectural imaging and imaging architecture,and explores the research scope,research subjects,mutual connection and extension of the two directions.The thesis defines the research subject of architectural imaging as the image of the architectural entity and its secondary image,as well as its generating medium and dissemination.The main body of imaging architecture research is mainly positioned as the proposal of architectural propositions,the generation of thinking,from architectural thinking to the possibility of image presentation,and the leading role of imaging architecture in the process of architectural design exploration.This study suggests that architectural images(including primary images and secondary images)are an important carrier of architects' thoughts and ideas and an important way of transmission.Especially at the end of the architectural entity,architectural images can still be an important and effective carrier of architectural information and they continue to carry,express and inherit architectural vocabulary and information.Imaging architecture has become a fact and phenomenon in the fields of architectural design,renderings,virtual reality,movies and games.It will influence and promote the development of architectural concepts in a certain range.
