Network technology and methods introduce great changes to the corporate competitive intelligence.The open source environment and the real-time dynamic and heterogeneous data structure brought about by web information resources require that the corporate competitive intelligence must advance the process re-engineering and business restructuring.Firstly,the co-word analysis was used to review related literature of corporate competitive intelligence in the network environment and the theoretical underpinnings.On this basis,we investigated the network methods and technology relevant to this study and the research results on corporate competitive intelligence,competitive intelligence system and network information acquisition and processing.Secondly,we discussed the impact of network environment on the corporate competitive environment and competitive abilities and the change it caused to the competitive intelligence business.On the one hand,in terms of the external environment,a discussion was conducted over the impact of web information resources on the corporate transaction cost,organizational boundary,supply chain environment,formulation of production and operation strategy,product research and development,demand forecast and marketing.On the other hand,from the internal perspective,a discussion was conducted over the impact of web information resources on the corporate business process,management and operations.Based on these discussions,this paper proposed the future development trend of corporate competitive intelligence business from the aspects of intelligence acquisition,analysis,service,and system realization.Thirdly,we explored the corporate competitive intelligence capability elements in the network environment.Through distributing questionnaires,we built the structural equation(SEM)model of the corporate competitive intelligence capability elements and discussed the interactions between the internal and external environmental factors,the capabilities of acquisition,analysis,service and system deployment of corporate competitive intelligence,and the corporate performance.Based on the data analysis and hypothesis verification,we pointed out that these factors played more or less and direct or indirect important roles in promoting the corporate performance.The intelligence analysis capability was the core,the intelligence acquisition capability was the premise,the capability of the intelligence system deployment was the foundation,the internal resources had minimal influence on the corporate performance,and the adaptability to the external environment would become an important capability.Fourthly,we studied the collection and acquisition of corporate competitive intelligence in the network environment.The acquisition of corporate competitive intelligence was discussed in the four types of network environments,namely keyword retrieval,network log data,network structure data and semantic analysis of web content.The integration modes of heterogeneous data of the corporate competitive intelligence from different sources was studied,including integration of external open data with corporate internal data,and integration of network data with third-party database resources.Fifthly,we probed into the corporate competitive intelligence processing and analysis issue in the network environment.A multi-layer analysis method system was proposed and included five layers,namely macro environment,industrial environment,market environment,competitive environment and corporate internal resources.Because these methods are common competitive intelligence analysis methods,according to the characteristics of the network environment data,we also proposed the semantic representation method based on the web information,and the semantic model to represent the semantic relationship.Moreover,this study also summarized the corporate competitive intelligence processing and analysis techniques based on big data and made a comparative analysis of the functions of domestic and international typical analysis tools of corporate competitive intelligence.Sixthly,we examined the corporate competitive intelligence service system in the network environment.A corporate competitive intelligence service system architecture was proposed on the basis of cloud service,which comprised six layers,namely resource access,infrastructure service,platform service,software service,transmission service and application service.At the same time,the security system of the corporate competitive intelligence service was introduced and the cloud platform security system architecture was constructed,including five layers,such as system platform,physical environment,network foundation and application service.On this basis,this paper presented three service modes,namely corporate competitive intelligence individualized service,collaborative consulting service and expert advisory service.Finally,from the perspective of application,taking a cement company as an example,we put forward the corporate competitive intelligence system design ideas and deployment scheme in the network environment.The entire corporate competitive intelligence system was divided into functions such as intelligence acquisition,processing,analysis,service and management.The design idea of each functional module was elaborated in detail,an introduction was made to the realization scheme and technological key points of each subsystem,and the system prototype was designed.
