Research On Unified Organization And Convergence Service Mode Of Libraries Museums And Archives Digital Resources

As important cultural information agencies,Libraries,archives and museums(LAM)become more and more irreplaceable in our social lives.With the development of information technology,digital resources are not only widely used in Libraries archives and museums respectively,but also helpful for resources and service convergence in LAM.Many researchers have made theoretical and practical achievements on the integration of digital resources and service.However,they mostly focus on digital resources convergence and sharing.Fewer researchers pay attention to service convergence.In fact,LAM digital resources organization and sharing is the foundation of converged services,so if we do not concern the innovation of service,the value of LAM resources will not be well played.Therefore,this paper tries to do more detailed research on converged service mode.In recent years,the cooperation among libraries,museums and archives is a hot issue.Due to the current academic researches mainly concentrate on resources co-construction and sharing,it is necessary to strengthen the research on service modes of LAM digital resources.Therefore,this paper makes deeply research on the mode of converged services and resources sharing of LAM.Firstly,this paper analyzes the differences among LAM digital resources,and tries to find out why they are so different.Secondly,according to the characteristics of LAM digital resources,this paper gives clear connotation of its unified organization,goals,etc.Then,based on the nature of LAM digital resources,we built a hierarchical organizational mode,which focuses on the deep semantic connections.Therefore,LAM digital resources form an organic set through appropriate organizational methods.Thirdly,we analyze the meaning and essence of LAM convergence service mode,and then construct LAM convergence service mode base on the unified organization strategy.The first chapter introduces the research background,significance,object and approach of this paper.Chapter 2 studies the theories on the LAM digital resources organization,service modes and summarizes the relevant practices.We make review of the LAM digital resources organization and convergence services modes.Chapter 3 clarifies the individual distinct characteristics of libraries,archives,museums digital resources,and then analyzes the reasons why there are so many differences among them based on the basic theories in library and information science area.The influences on LAM digital resources sharing and services convergence are deeply discussed.In order to make LAM digital resource organization more clearly-targeted and carry out the research with a clear goal,chapter 4 explores the meaning,goals,influence factors and the principles of organization and sharing of the LAM digital resources,which is helpful for the following research.Chapter 5 is the specific research on LAM digital resources organization strategy,which is aiming to set up deep correlation among the resources by using the theoretical achievements in the library and information science area.This chapter presents a LAM digital resources sharing strategy based on users collaborative editing associative table,which is useful for users to widely participate in the LAM digital resources organization and tacit knowledge sharing.Chapter 6 deeply discusses the meaning,objective,influence factors and the principles of building the LAM digital resources convergence service mode.Chapter 7 constructs the hierarchical LAM digital resources service mode.On a macro level,the LAM digital resources convergence services mode can be classified into two categories:one mode considers the LAM digital resources as the main body,another collaborates LAM digital resources and physical resources.This paper pays attention to the first category,and discusses some basic services modes in this category,especially on retrieval and exhibition of LAM digital resources.In this chapter,the LAM digital resources service mode and the resources organization strategy are well connected to improve the service quality.Chapter 8 summarizes the whole research process,presents the limitations of the research,and points out what we need to do in the future.
