Research On Innovative Pathogenesis Theories Of Contemporary TCM

Objective: Systematically combing the innovative achievements of TCM pathogenesis theories in the past 60 years,this study is to classify and sort out the specific contents involved in innovative pathogenesis theories and the formation of pathogenesis theoretical system,as well as comprehensively demonstrate the status quo of innovative research on TCM pathogenesis theories.Furthermore,the evolutional regularity of TCM pathogenesis theories will be deeply discussed,the development trend and research path clarified.Ultimately,it will partly complement and improve traditional Chinese medicine pathogenesis theory system,and promote the construction of contemporary Chinese medicine pathology to some extent.Method: The full collection of the relevant literature on the innovation of TCM pathogenesis theory and the strict definition of the scope of the “Innovative Pathogenesis Theories” are the foundation of the research.According to the object and purpose of this study,literature search and screening are carried out by means of literature research.The logic analysis method and the scientific philosophy research method are mainly used to extract the theoretical results of innovative pathogenesis,and standardize its concept,clarify its characteristics,divide its hierarchy,differentiate its categories,as well as evaluate the nature of innovation and its clinical significance,analyze the evolution regularity of innovative pathogenesis theories.Finally,the innovative theory system of TCM pathogenesis is constructed.Result: Four achievements have been made in this study by systematically summarize the innovative achievements of pathogenesis theories on TCM.Firstly,the concept of “pathogenesis” is scientifically defined from connotation and extension(element,stratified,classification),which can guide the evaluation of innovative pathogenesis theories accurately.As the essential summary of the mechanism of disease occurrence,development and prognosis,pathogenesis has four factors that are etiology,location,nature and condition,which can be divided into single pathogenesis and compound pathogenesis.Hierarchy is based on the accurate understanding of pathogenesis from macro to specific.The connotation of "syndrome" in TCM is not unified,so the relationship between pathogenesis and “syndrome” needs further exploration.Secondly,according to the content,innovative achievements of pathogenesis theories can be divided into nine related aspects: toxic pathogens,collaterals,toxic damage to collaterals,underlying pathogens,Xuanfu,emotion,Shanghuo,compound pathogenesis and other pathogenesis.Define the concept of pathogenesis theories with connotation and extension,clarify their causes,pathogenic characteristics,pathogenic mechanism,clinical manifestation,biological basis,different categories,innovative application,etc.,and distinguish its logical tiers,thus establish a theoretical system and show the current research status of innovative pathogenesis theory,as well as initially arrive at a consents about the innovative pathogenesis theories.Thirdly,based on the preliminary formation and the establishment of the theoretical system of TCM pathogenesis,this paper also deeply analyzes its problems such as uncertain content,unclear hierarchy and imperfect system.So it constructs an innovative pathogenesis theoretical system.Innovation includes following aspects: first,the connotation and relationship between systemic pathogenesis and categorydisease pathogenesis are clarified.Systemic pathogenesis is classified by Zangfu and meridians;category-disease pathogenesis is by exogenous and internal injuries.Second,endogenous five pathogenic is a pathogenesis of internal injuries,which belongs to the category-diseases pathological.The third is to incorporate the results of innovative research on pathogenesis theories into the theoretical system.Fourthly,to explore the regularity of the formation of innovative pathogenesis theories and establish the scientific research method for pathogenesis theories to innovate.Four factors influence the formation of innovative pathogenesis theories were studied,including philosophical thinking,disease spectrum,modern science and technology and other factors.Three formative models of innovative pathogenesis theories were explored,including summary of clinical practice,excavation and interpretation of classical theory,test and verification of pathogenesis hypothesis.At the same time,innovation path and overall requirements of pathogenesis theories are put forward.Conclusion: This study defines the concepts of "pathogenesis","fuxie","Xuanfu","emotional cause","fire" etc.,provides the basis for the innovative research of pathogenesis theory and the establishment of pathogenesis theory system.It summarizes nine innovative pathogenesis theories of toxic pathogens,collaterals,toxic damage to collaterals,underlying pathogens,Xuanfu,emotion,Shanghuo,compound pathogenesis and other pathogenesis,which can partly guide clinical practice.This research also innovatively constructs a system of pathogenesis theory with clear content,reasonable structure and clear logic,it clarifies the inherent development regularity and internal logic of TCM pathogenesis.The research on the innovative regularity of pathogenesis theory provides a basis for the systematic evaluation of innovative pathogenesis theories,and helps to construct a scientific and effective innovative pathogenesis theory.To some extent,the four aspects improve the traditional pathogenesis and promote the development of modern Chinese medicine pathogenesis.
