Research On The Origin And Integration Of The Theory Of Liver Qi Deficiency Pathogenesis

Objective To activate the literature,theory and clinical research on the pathogenesis of liver qi deficiency,identify the bottleneck of the research in this field,point out the way for future research,promote the improvement and development of the theory of liver qi deficiency,improve the integrity of the theory of liver viscera and even the whole viscera,and promote the clinical application of the theory of liver qi deficiency and the improvement of the curative effect of related diseases.Methods Using the method of traditional Chinese medicine philology,the ancient and modern literatures about liver qi deficiency were collected,sorted out and analyzed comprehensively,and on this basis,the pathogenesis theory of liver qi deficiency was studied.Results On the basis of tracing back to the source and following the integrated research,the concept of liver qi and liver qi deficiency were defined,the "most valuable viscera" of liver and its main physiological basis were analyzed,the causes of liver qi deficiency in ancient medical books were analyzed,the causes of liver qi deficiency were revealed and summarized,and the reference elements for clinical diagnosis of liver qi deficiency were put forward.Conclusion ①the theory of pathogenesis of liver qi deficiency is objective,with detailed ancient literature basis and rich clinical practice basis.It is of great significance to confirm the pathogenesis theory of liver qi deficiency for improving the integrity of liver viscera and even the whole viscera theory,promoting its clinical application and improving the curative effect of related diseases and syndromes.②The construction of the theory of liver viscera must make it clear that liver qi is a physiological concept and liver qi deficiency is a pathogenesis concept.The broad and narrow sense of the definition of liver Qi determines the broad and narrow sense of the concept of liver qi deficiency.However,when treated with the function of liver storing blood,liver qi is the function of liver controlling the discharge,and liver qi deficiency is the function of liver controlling the discharge.③The physiological effect of liver governing and relieving(narrow sense of liver qi)has the universality,particularity and importance that the other four viscera can’t compare with,which determines the prominent and important value of the pathogenesis theory of liver qi deficiency.④The ancient medical literature rarely discusses the pathogenesis of liver qi deficiency,and the reason why the contemporary research is difficult mainly comes from the internal theory of liver system,which is inextricably linked with the physiological effect of liver qi catharsis and the universality,complexity and particularity of pathological influence.This is the bottleneck of the research and the way to explore in the future.⑤In order to understand the etiology of liver qi deficiency,we should pay attention to the important influence of factors such as lack of endowment,long-term disease,excessive liver cutting and so on.⑥The diagnosis of liver qi deficiency is a difficult problem.The difficulty also comes from the physiological effect of liver qi catharsis and the universality,complexity and particularity of pathological influence.But in principle,it should be judged according to the common symptoms of qi deficiency and the specific localization symptoms of liver system.
