Objective: Based on "the Five Gods” theory of the Traditional Chinese Medicine, this research is to construct an “Intention Element Evaluation Scale”,using the data mining technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support Platform. As an objective scientific quantitative evaluation tool for mental and psychological behavioral diseases, the Scale can offer new insights into the comprehensive understanding,diagnosis and treatment of mental and psychological behavioral diseases.Method: With “Intention” as the keyword,the research starts by searching the ancient literature of Si Ku Quan Shu(Encyclopedia Sinica) and the Chinese Medical Classics and the modern literature in Chinese Journal Full-text Database CNKI,and establishes a database of the Intention concept of the TCM. By analyzing and arranging with the Chinese Traditional Medicine Inheritance Support Platform,items related to Intention Disorder are filtered. Through the review of experts in the related field, an initial Intention Evaluation Scale is constructed. By pre-survey and final test, and with the review,modification and amendments by experts of the related field, the Scale is finalized. It can evaluate diseases using the Five Mental Elements Theory of TCM and provide guidance for clinical dialect treatment.Achievement: By mining,sorting and analyzing the Intention Element,a reliable Intention Element Evaluation Scale with TCM characteristic is constructed. On the onehand, it enriches the Five Mental Elements Theory, and on the other hand, based on the Five Gods Theory of TCM, it offers an objective and scientific tool and model for the quantification and assessment of TCM mental and psychological behavioral diseases.Conclusion: The Intention Element Evaluation Scale based on "the Five Gods” theory of the Traditional Chinese Medicine has good reliability and validity, and can be used for assessment the effect of Intention Disorder in the patient’s disease, and thus provide good guidance for the dialectic diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
