| Construction migrant workers,the major members of front-line construction workers,have made great contributions to China’s modernization and leading position of construction economy since the reform and opening up.However,some prominent problems generally exist in over fifty million construction migrant workers,such as ageing,lack of personal capital,poor employment quality,and difficulties in urbanizing.They can?t meet the need of high quality development of National Economy and modernized upgrading of construction industry.And it is urgent to establish a team of stable and high-quality industrial workers of the construction industry by the industrialization of workers.Academic circles have made a lot of discussions on the issue of construction migrant workers.It is generally pointed out that construction migrant workers who are engaged in "hard,tired,dangerous,dirty,chaotic and poor" work bear many unfair treatment,such as serious lack of protection of rights and interests,difficulties in sustainable career development,which has become a typical representative of "imbalance and insufficient contradiction".However,there is little systematic research on mechanism and countermeasures of the industrialization of migrant workers,which could be a reference that provide targeted intellectual support and decision-making for government departments in formulating solutions.On the basis of systematically combing and fully drawing lessons from the relevant research results at home and abroad,this paper carries out the research on the realistic obstacles,influencing mechanism and path Countermeasures of the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry in China.It is helpful to promote the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry in China,cultivate a stable and high-quality workforce in construction industry,and promote the sustainable and healthy development of construction industry and the overall progress of society.It has certain theoretical value and practical significance to realize the two "hundred years goal" as soon as possible.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the practical problems and obstacles of the industrialization of construction migrant workers were analyzed based on historical literature research and national survey data,which includes three aspects.ⅰ,evolution history and current development situation of transformation of rural-urban migrant workers to industrial workers in construction industry through historical perspective;ⅱ,from the two aspects of the barriers of Construction Migrant workers’ personal capital(human capital,economic capital and social capital)and external conditions(society,government,industry,enterprise),this paper analyses the realistic obstacles of the industrialization of Construction Migrant Workers in China.ⅲ,evolution trend of transformation of rural-urban migrant workers to industrial workers in construction industry was proposed from two perspectives of maintaining and changing the current situation.Secondly,with the help of Interpretative Structural Model(ISM)calculation,this paper reveals the impact mechanism of the industrialization of migrant workers in China’s construction industry.ⅰ,27 key factors that affect the transformation of rural-urban migrant workers to industrial workers in construction industry were identified on the basis of document research,questionnaire research,current problem analysis and expert interview;ⅱ,by means of logic discrimination and hierarchical analysis to the interrelation between the relevant influence factors with ISM,multilayer hierarchical structure diagram of influence factor to transformation of rural-urban migrant workers to industrial workers in construction industry was given;ⅲ,the mechanism of the influence to the transformation is further analyzed and the mechanism is that under the influence of external conditions such as society,government,industry and enterprise,human capital,economic capital and social capital were promoted together and rural-urban migrant workers can enjoy high-quality employment opportunities and equal urban social welfare benefits for workers in modern industries at last.Thirdly,with the help of China Statistical Yearbook data and site survey interview data,this paper constructs Logit model and System Dynamics(SD)model,and demonstrates the impact mechanism of the industrialization of migrant workers in China’s construction industry from both static and dynamic aspects.ⅰ,survey interview questionnaire was designed based on the theoretical conclusion of the key influence factors and mechanism to the transformation that mentioned above and survey interviews was conducted on 20 construction sites in Chongqing.ⅱ,establishing logit model and using the second construction site survey data,the ways and effects that key influencing factors acts was deeply analyzed,and the static demonstration of act mechanism of the key influence factor to the transformation was accomplished;ⅲ,based on the theoretical framework of the impact mechanism of construction migrant workers,a system simulation model of migrant workers’ industrialization in China’s construction industry is constructed by using SD tools.With the help of China’s statistical yearbook and field survey interview data,different policy scenarios such as the change of total capital investment,the change of unit capital requirement and the change of industrial workers’ target number are set up.The dynamic simulation model of Jing Run analyzed the intensity and sensitivity of key influencing factors,dynamically verified the influencing mechanism of the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry in China,and obtained the policy sensitive factors influencing the industrialization rate of migrant workers in construction industry and the change of the number of workers in construction industry.At last,based on the practical obstacles and influencing mechanism of the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry in China and to cultivate a stable team of high-quality workers in construction industry.With the ultimate goal of cultivating a stable and high-quality construction industry workforce,based on the realistic obstacles and influencing mechanism of the industrialization of migrant workers in construction industry,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of "building a long-term mechanism for the effective accumulation and promotion of human capital,economic capital and social capital of migrant workers in construction industry",and clarifies the stages and timing of the countermeasures.The research route in this paper is current situation-obstacle analysis-mechanism research-countermeasures suggestion.Taking the rural-urban migrant workers in construction in China as the research object,combining with the theoretical analysis and empirical study,the internal law and influencing mechanism to the transformation of rural-urban migrant workers to industrial workers in construction industry was revealed and forming the innovation of research viewpoints and perspectives,which enriches the scientific connotation and application scope of the related theoretical system of the industrialization of migrant workers,and is helpful to deepening research on related issues of rural-urban workers in construction industry.In addition,the study provides intellectual support and wider idea to policy-making for training a team of stable high-quality industrial workers in construction industry. |
