A Study On Tsai,Fu-yi

Tsai,Fu-yi(1576-1625),a scholar gained his fame not only for his success in military,but also his achievement in poems and lyrics.He was the youngest Jin-shi(a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations)in Kinmen,and also the first Kinmen written in the official history of Ming Dynasty.This essay discussed two dispute of Tsai.First of all,He was often regarded as a Jin-lin style poet,only because his friendship with Jin-lin style writers Zhong Shin and Tang Yuan-chun.However,there were some other aspect in his writings,and many criticisms about his style were not appropriate.Second,legend has it that Tsai had a very ugly appearance,but there are no trastworthy documents described his Frankenstein look.We should cross-matching every references,to reveal the true face of Tsai.The essay has six chapters.Chpater One is about the background of Tsai's time.Chapter Two,the biography of Tsai.Chapter Three reveals the thirty-year friendship with writer Xie,Jie-shou.Chapter Four discussed his discovery when traveling in southern China.Chapter Five,the difference between his writings and Jin-lin style literature.Chpater Si;x,the discussion on his writings.
