Objective::The Chinese medicine literature is an important carrier of theory and experience inheritance of Chinese medicine,which recorded a lot of clinical experience and summary of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of Infectious disease.In the long struggle with infectious diseases,Chinese medicine has been recognized that infectious diseases may spread by food,breathing or contact,therefore put forward a series of measures of prevention and treatment.Among them,drug-use experience is especially rich.But these informations are fuzzy,nonlinear with non quantitative complex features.Data mining methods can help find out the correlation and regularities of these informations,thus,provide reference for contemporary clinic use.Content:On the basis of knowing the overall information of infectious diseases,this dissertation collects clinical literatures both ancient and contemporary,using data mining methods to find out characteristics of drug therapy as well as laws of composing prescriptions,Comparing the ancient and modern similarities and differences in drug-use,screening commonly used drugs andprescription structures,analyzing the scope of application of various drugs in prescriptions,find out hidden clinical informations in literaturesMethod:?Literature research.Using bibliography retrieve and collect drug therapy information from ancient literature.Using retrieval technique such as Boolean logic,truncation,and nested search field defined retrieval from searching database to access original documents including clinical reports,medical records,etc.The data items such as disease name,symptom,treatment method,prescription,dosage form,composition,usage and route of administration were extracted from each document.The year 1911 is used as the dividing point to distinguish ancient and modern document.?Data cleaning.According to the needs of data cleaning and data specification,using Microsoft Excel to establish basic data form.?Data mining.Determining the analysis samples according to Zipf's law.Doing frequency statistics by enabling the Excel advanced features,VBA programming,call the relevant function,selection of high-frequency drugs.Using SPSS Clementine 12.0,Python regular expression matching to conduct association rules analysis,find commonly used drug pairs and drug groups as well as their basic combination structure.Conclusion:?The frequency analysis and comparison of ancient and modern prescriptions can help to screen commonly used drugs,to know the actual use and changes of clinical drug-use as well as the main principles and methods of TCM treatment on infectious diseases,so as to find clues of potential clinical values from these drug-use,and provide reference for modern clinic drug-use and formation principles of prescriptions.?The ancient and modern drug-use have many similarities,especially drugs for eliminatng dampness,regulating Qi,resolving phlegm,removing heat from blood,promoting laxation of the bowels,removing food stagnation,tonifying Qi,tonifying yin,tonifying blood etc.The main differences of drug-use between ancient and modern clinic are the use of drugs for removing heat and treating exterior syndromes.Heat-clearing drug-use was significantly increased compared with that in ancient times,and drugs for treating exterior syndromes are more frequently used in ancient prescriptions than in modern times,which indicate that ancient drugs are more likely to "disperse" pathogenic factors while modern drug-use has the characteristics of "clear" pathogenic factors from body.?In general,the principle of prescription composition of infectious disease show the main features of "Qing " "San""Xing" and "He".”Qing "refers to clearing and removing pathogenic heat from body,"San"and "Xing" refers to disperse or expel pathogenic factors from body,"He" refers to moderate the properties of drugs and make harmony state of yin and yang of the body.?Analysis on the basis of three levels of drug-use helps to find drugs of different usage scope,and thus can provide reference for modern clinic.This analysis can also help to provide structural thought of how to compose prescrpitions of infectious diseases.?The significant of this research is that it is a good help to improve the quality of clinical prescriptions on the basis of combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation,and is convenient for computer classification processing,to provide ideas and reference for the establishment of clinical recommended drug system of infectious disease.
