Clinical Research On Acupuncture With Instant Pull Out Treatment Of Female Urethral Syndrome

Female urethral syndrome(FUS)is a common syndrome,the main clinical symptoms of typical urinary frequency,urgency,poor urination.Secondary clinical manifestations of abdominal bulge or pain,urinary incontinence and etc.,but no bladder or urethral organic disease of a clinical common symptoms.In modern society the people in city rapid their tempo of life,living standards is improved,work and interpersonal mental stress,rapid changes in social environment and other factors under the negative impact,the number of patients is increasing,and different ages women will have female urethral syndrome,but occurred in between young and middle-aged women were common.Most studies concluded that age between young and middle-aged women are getting harder because a lot of work to cope with and need to take care of their families also.Their state of illness are fluctuated,and easy to recurrent,often behave with urinary frequency,urgency,poor urination,so that they do not like to go out and feels very embarrassed.In the middle night often behave with get up repeatedly for urinate,then affect the quality of sleep,and lack of sleep also affect the day time activities,this vicious cycle will gradually increase the patient's mental stress,besides the symptoms continue to exacerbation.In modern medical research has not yet clear understanding of its etiology and pathology.So far there is no effective treatment of female urethral syndrome.So there are still many urethral syndrome patients and seriously affect the their life.However,modern medicine generally believe that the main cause of female urethral syndrome are psychological factors,life behavior,estrogen levels,immune factors and other aspects.Looking at the Traditional Chinese medicine,although not found with the same name of disease,but to observe the clinical symptoms and the characteristics of the disease should be similar with TCM called "Lin Zheng"category.TCM believed that the cause of disease should be related to liver,spleen and kidney.Kidney and bladder is the corresponding relationship,the bladder function is urination and storage of urine.Female urethral syndrome,the main clinical symptoms of typical urinary frequency,urgency,poor urination.Secondary clinical manifestations of abdominal bulge or pain,urinary incontinence and so on.ObjectiveIn this study,a small sample of randomized controlled clinical study,compare the performance of the regular acupuncture treatment and acupuncture with instant pull out treatment to cure women of urethral syndrome.Compare before and after treatment to observe the symptoms of the samples is the main purpose of the study,so that to find a effective way to cure women of urethral syndrome.The total number of samples are able to meet the requirements of the study are 58 cases and randomly assigned to the observation group of 30 cases and control group of 28 cases.The patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture with instant pull out.The patients in the control group were treated with acupuncture and keep the needles in 30mins.The frequency of treatment for both groups are twice a week and 8 times for one course of treatment.After 2 courses of time,we will evaluate the result between before and after treatment and evaluate the two groups of patients improvement.ResultsBefore treatment,the difference in the age and course of patients between observation and control group has no statistical significance(P>0.05),which can be compared.The difference in scores of each symptom between observation and control group has no statistical significance(P>0.05),with comparability.After 2 courses of treatment,FUSS and QOL were applied to observe the urethral syndrome and quality of life of patients that improved well,with effective rate was 83.16%in observation group and 72.13%of control group,which indicated that the both therapies can improve urethral syndrome.The depression of patients was improved after treatment,with SDS for assessment.The difference in comparison of symptoms including frequent urination,urgent urination,odynuria,etc.after treatment of observation and control group has statistical significance(P<0.05),indicating that two therapies have certain curative effect on improvement of above symptoms.ConclusionAcupuncture with instant pull out treatment and acupuncture with regular treatment from the results of the study of women with urethral syndrome in patients with difference level of improvement,but the acupuncture without instant pull out treatment can effectively improve urethral syndrome and quality of life in female patients.By the observation for two therapies,the study concluded that the treatment effect of acupuncture with instant pull out treatment is better than that the acupuncture with regular treatment,which has provided new ideas and direction for clinical research and also benefits for treatment cost in respect of time and labor.
