The concept of disruptive innovation(DI)was proposed in management field.Disruptive innovation is characterized by avoiding competition in the market and meeting the special needs of niche market,so it has gradually aroused attention from enterprises and research and development(R&D)personnels in the field of product design.As an important branch of DI,new market disruptive innovation(NDI)derives new directions for technological innovation and provides a new design thought for product innovation.This paper chooses NDI as the research object,to stimulate new customers’ potential needs,it proposes a set of relatively complete and effective systematic approach for solving the problems and obstacles that enterprises encounter when developing NDI products,which includes three technologies,the generation of NDI ideas,the transformation of the idea to design scheme,and the ex-ante evaluation process model of new market disruptive innovative design scheme.The technologies proposed in the paper aim to provide theoretical guidance for enterperses and R&D personnels to develop new market disruptive innovative products.The main contents include the following aspects.1.According to the development history of the concept of disruptive innovation at home and abroad and the analysis of the controversial contents,this paper illustrates the concept of DI from the perspective of product design,and further expounds the concept and characteristics of new market disruptive innovative technology(NDT).2.Accroding to the change of characteristics that the new disruptive innovative product relative to the mainstream product,the key features that influence the value of NDI product are extracted,and the qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for evaluating the value of NDI products are proposed based on the equations of analyzing products’ value provided by mechanical design study.The qualitative analysis method is applied to guide the establishment of evaluation model for NDI design scheme,and the quantitative analysis method is applied to guide the system in optimization in the process of product design.3.The core concept of design-driven innovation is introduced to chassify and analyze the TRIZ super-system resources.It transforms the traditional passive design state of “satisfy customers’ needs” into the active design state of “stimulate the potention needs of customers”.The target customers of NDI are new customers,therefore,according to creating “new customers” or “new environment”,three driven modes of generating NDI ideas are proposed,and the process model of generating NDI ideas for the fuzzy front end(FFE)is established.4.The meaning of “function differentiation” is proposed explicitly,and it includes two aspects,(1)The change of function sets learned from the perspective of the overall analysis,.(2)The change of the realization degree of functions by analyzing a certain function.Driven by function differentiation design,a process model of generating NDI design scheme is proposed,and it includes four steps,the establishment of the function layer structure,the determination of the expected performance rank,the configuration of components and the optimization of the system.The four steps are applied in order,and they aim to solve the problem that the R&D personnels have no systematic approach to follow,reduce repeatly modification work after the prototype had been manufactured,and improve the design efficiency.5.According to the statistical analysis of the changed features that the chosed 20 NDI products relative to the mainstream products,eventually we got 20 groups of sample data.The mutiple logistic regression analysis model is choosed,and the regression coefficients are calculated and tested based on Matlab 7.0.Finally,the quantitative analysis model for evaluating the popularity degree of NDI design scheme is established.It aims to provide theoretical basis for enterprises to evaluate NDI design scheme,and overcome the obstacles brought by enterprise leaders’ subjective decision.6.The traditional cash recycling system(CRS)is conducted new market disruptive innovative design by applying the key technologies proposed in this paper,the generation of NDI ideas,the generation of a NDI design scheme(a new type of CRS)and the final evaluation of the design scheme,besides,the evaluation result is analyzed by combining the today’s era background.Finally,the process verifies the practicability and effectiveness of the new market disruptive innovative technologies proposed in this paper.
