Research On New Market Disruptive Innovation Method Based On Inclusive Design

NDI opens up new markets by providing potential consumers with products with special value such as cheap price and easy operation.With the continuous improvement of product performance and functions,NDI will gradually erode to the mainstream market,so as to destroy the original market structure and competition rules,and eventually become the dominant player in the new market.NDI innovation method is contrary to the innovation method in the mainstream market,and the state and profit model of enterprises in the market cannot correctly maintain the direction of design,which ultimately leads to the deviation of design essence.Therefore,enterprises need to assist such innovation mode in ways other than NDI innovation method.The core of inclusive design can be understood as equal(not equal)access to design,that is,ensuring that the products and services designed can meet the needs of the public as much as possible,free from the limitations of the ability of vulnerable groups.The combination of NDI and inclusive design approaches solves the problem of possible design deviations caused by NDI and further expands the product market of physically disadvantaged group.At the same time,inclusive design has always been used as a design concept to guide the design process,and there is no corresponding design method and design process.However,NDI provides a new idea for inclusive design,supporting the implementation of the design concept with a rigorous and comprehensive design process to realize the design vision for everyone.Analysis of domestic and foreign studies of NDI technology and inclusive design concept of the existing achievements,this topic to the innovation of the enterprises and designers to provide practical and effective technology for the main purpose,combined with an inclusive design concept,users will be geared to the needs of vulnerable groups of NDI product design process is divided into two parts which generated ideas,design and evaluation.1.As it is a design process for physically disadvantaged group users,it is the key to explore and develop the potential needs of vulnerable groups in new markets according to the analysis of user of vulnerable groups characteristics and environmental characteristics.Firstly,user characteristics of vulnerable groups and environmental characteristics are extracted and summarized.The functional structure of the target product is established.Through the functional decomposition of the target product,the set of corresponding product functional features is established according to the user characteristics and environmental characteristics.Determine the constraint items of the target product and make subsystem radar map for analysis and comparison,and finally form the NDI assumption.2.After the emergence of NDI idea,the construction of the design scheme and the later evaluation are also important components of NDI product design.According to the inclusive design concept,NDI’s solution generation process is divided into two aspects,namely,the vulnerable group user aspect and the product aspect,and then tasks are assigned in terms of their relative capabilities.After the task assignment is completed,the specific semantics of the task are determined and the appropriate structure is selected by querying the structure in the relevant patent database.In order to reduce the risk after the product is put into the market and the later iteration and modification work,it is necessary to analyze the inclusion degree of NDI products in advance.According to the inclusive design concept,the inclusive characteristics and design constraints of vulnerable groups of users were taken as features,the changes in the number of features as independent variables,and the final success rate of the product as dependent variables.Multiple logistic regression equations were established to analyze the product cases,and finally the evaluation model of NDI design scheme was obtained.3.With the elderly as the research object and the household camera as an example,a new NDI product based on inclusive design was developed by applying the design method proposed in this project,and the degree of inclusiveness of the product was verified.
