Research On The EMC Index Construction And Synthetic Evaluation For Communication System

With the rapid development of the science and technology, the technologytendency of modern communication presentsmore and more broadband, mobile,miniaturization and integration, the research of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)plays an important role in communication system.For large communication system, EMC index system must be established based onthe system requirements first.Under the constraint of task demand, application layerindex is the global aim of system design, which should meet the top quantify design;moreover, the design layer index under the technical constraints, which acted as theconcrete elements to ensured system design, needs specific analysis and assessment toensure the electromagnetic compatibility general index is reasonable and feasible. Theconstruction technology combined the two index system construction technology hasbecome a research focus of system level EMC.The primary restrictions in traditional EMC index are focus on the EMCperformance of hardware device or system itself, whilethe effect of system integratedapplication is unconcerned, which lack of system application index. For the seriousproblems, a new scheme of EMC index system based on the hierarchical mappingcombined with the characteristics of EMC and the properties of communication systemis proposed. In other words, the EMC index system contains both Application Indexwhich reflects the system performance and Design Index which manifests the designkey elements, including the top-down integrate and disintegrate of the index and thebottom-up evaluation, aprocess and method “system construction-disintegration andquantization–evaluation and verification-feedback and calibration” for parameterconstruction is presented. Astratified index system including “interferencelimitationindex in application layer”,“close degree index in design layer”,“detail indexin design layer” is formed, which filled in the blank of application performance index.The paper focus on the methodology research, the process and method of EMC indexsystem can be introduced to other integrated electronic information systems.
