With the rapid development of information technology, more and morecommunication is used, which makes that a small area is filled with lots ofelectronic equipments and electromagnetic signals. Generally, electromagneticenvironment is very complicated and electromagnetic interference is serious. Inorder to make the communication system with the performance of their respectivefunctions without interfering with each other, the problem of electromagneticcompatibility is urgent to solve. So prediction and analysis of electromagneticcompatibility between systems is need, which is important prerequisite andguarantee.In this paper, works on EMC prediction and analysis between communicationsystems are done as follows:Firstly, from the mechanism of electromagnetic interference, the effects ofnonlinear circuits for signal and spectral characteristics of various types ofcommunications interference signal are analyzed via Matlab simulation, themathematical models of electromagnetic compatibility prediction and analysis isproposed. Meanwhile, the sensitivity characteristics of receiver and transmissionloss characteristics of electromagnetic wave in the medium are analyzed.Secondly, according to reliability index of both analog and digital systems, theinterference criterion of each system for predictive analysis of electromagneticcompatibility is proposed, in which, interference margin is a criterion of analogsystem, error rate is a criterion of digital system. Then electromagnetic compatibilityprediction analysis processes and methods based on interference margin and errorrate is calculated and discussed.At last, based on theoretical analysis, combining with functional requirements,communication system electromagnetic compatibility predictive analytics softwareis written using Visual C++development tool in MFC environment, whichcommunicates with users by interface, and easy to understand and operate. Thesoftware includes three functions: electromagnetic compatibility prediction of analog system, calculation of the transmission loss and electromagneticcompatibility prediction of digital systems. Moreover, the software is verified withan example of practical applications.
