| Along with the increasing development of science technology and internetenvironment，information technology all-round infiltration in the process of academiccommunication，which trigger the resource sharing value and give rise to the scientificresearch essence. Open Access as a new publication mechanism natured by“crisis ofacademic journal”emerged as the times require. The launch of open access activitiesmade the international academic sharing and communication to be possible, whichbreak the monopoly on commercial publication institution and promote the updatedevelopment and wide spread of global resources.In the recent years, open access journal and open access archives as the openaccess approach made anyone in anytime at anywhere visit any academicachievement without any restriction. Open access journal as the new channel ofscientific knowledge providing academic publication via high quality and efficientnetwork is accepted and identified by more scholars. Compared with traditionalpublication mode, open access mode promote the wide spread of academiccommunication, solve the problem of long publication period and slow publicationprocess, dispel the economic hurdles for expensive subscription fee. It is benefit foreditors, authors, readers and reviewers, and suppressed the academic corruptioneffectively. Meanwhile it is satisfied with scientific researchers for immediacy,efficiency and diversity demands of scholarly resources.The newly released research fruit by the science workers directly reflect thedevelopment and the scientific standard of a country in a certain direction and under acertain time. In order to concentrate basic scientific technology research and reflectdomestic innovative application, to promote official, prompt, effective and exotericcommunication between scientific researchers, and to expend the internationalinfluence of scientific thesis of China, improving the quality and academic influenceof domestic open access journal become to be the crucial point. Therefore, on thebasis of the combination of theory and practice the thesis choose the academicinfluence of open access journal as article theme, to help users recognize the valueand exist ability of open access journal at the micro level, lay the foundation ofresearchers for evaluating journal ranks, and look out the influencing factors fordeveloping domestic open access at the macro level, provide objective basis of openaccess management, thereby boost the better development of open access activities inour country. The thesis applied the combined qualitative and quantitative methods, analyzingthe components and characters on the basis of abundance literatures. Construct theconcept model of influence factors with open access journal according to existingrelative study. Apply literature analysis method, factor analysis, the structuralequation model comprehensively, and collect research data through Amos and SPSSsoftware. The difficulty of this paper lies in analyzing the relative factors of openaccess journal systematically, and designing the scientific concept model. Meanwhile,the complexity of factors, the achievement of data in multi-channel, and the accuratemeasure of each item also need to pay attention.The Thesis mainly contains five parts，including theoretical study，factoranalysis，empirical study，mode construction and countermeasure study. Researchfocus on the framework and theoretical study，key influence factors，empirical study.The Thesis analyzes the critical factors academic influence of open access journalcomprehensively and systematically. Meanwhile，with the deep pattern analysis，wedesign the scientific model. According to the complexity of relative factors，we obtainthe indicator data in multi-channel，and measure each data item precisely. The firstpart of the paper is theoretical study which contains the concept, characteristic,elements and evaluation method of academic influence about open access journal.Meanwhile we explore the relative theory for academic influence of open accessjournal. The second part is the factor analysis, in the light of the characteristic of openaccess and the essential factors of academic influence. We discriminate the influencefactors and analyze the mechanism between the key factors. The third part is theempirical study, mainly to test the functional mechanism for academic influenceamong key factors of open access journal, and then analyze the result of the eempirical research. The fourth part is the model construction that we construct thescientific and systematic logical model of academic influence for open access journalaccording to preamble theory analysis and empirical study. The fifth part is thesolution implementation which contains the approach and countermeasure forimproving academic influence mainly on the basis of the previous study. The main conclusion of this research including:1）To clarify the framework of overseas and domestic theoretical studies foracademic resources of open access, found the study with open access in our countrystill stay in the shadow level, lack of breakthrough achievement. It is not conducive toexplore the key factors of open access resource, hard to promote the rapid expansionof domestic open access.2）To discriminate the academic influence factors of open access journal basedon the functional mechanism，including OA author influence，OA reader influence，OA institution influence，OA network influence，OA journal influence，OA paperinfluence and OA web influence. Related authors have investigated the factorsinfluencing scientific researchers for publishing articles in open access journalthrough questionnaire, the result are roughly similar to the thesis which illustrate thefactors have certain representativeness.3）structural equation model fitting validation, the research hypothesis are allestablished. Consequently, build the logical model of academic influence for openaccess journal with the theory foundation of scholarly communication process.4）By the contrast analysis of typical open access journal at home and abroad，found big differences between overseas and domestic in OAJ author cooperationdegree，OAJ institute prestige，OAJ editorial board membership，OAJ figures andtables number，and OAJ web link aspect. Thus we should take examples of foreigndevelopment experience, adjust open access policy, popularize open access idea,explicit intellectual property protection, reform current publication system, payattention to open access practice, complete network infrastructure, and improve openaccess fund support, thereby improving the academic influence and resources value ofopen access constantly in our country.In brief，the academic influence of open access journal among overseas anddomestic scholars is still in the exploration stage at present, the theoretical methodand evaluation system is imperfection, the basic theories and practices remain have onin-depth and systematic research. The thesis proceeds primary exploration with theory foundation, influence factors, mode construction and improvement strategy, expect toaccelerate domestic open access activities, put forward domestic practices of openaccess journal, make small contribution for improving entirely the quality andacademic influence of open access journal in our country. |
