| Objective This paper aimed to construct the evaluation index system of academic influence of natural science journals,calculate the weight of indicators at all levels,and provide scientific basis for the quantitative evaluation of the academic quality of natural science journals.Using the constructed evaluation index system to evaluate the academic influence of natural science journals of Henan Provincial Department of education,and objectively evaluate the academic quality of journals.Methods Using the literature analysis method and Panel discussion to select the evaluation index and establish the preliminary framework of evaluation index system.The Delphi method was used to determine the final evaluation index system,and the weight of each index was determined by analytic hierarchy process(AHP),collect the relevant data of the journals,and By using TOPSIS method,RSR method and TOPSIS and RSR fuzzy set,this paper made a comprehensive evaluation on the academic influence of the 19 Natural Science Journals of Henan Provincial Department of education.Results1.The evaluation index system of natural science journals academic influence,the source characteristics index,citation index,Indexed index and network communication index were the first level indicators,,on this basis,includes 15 level two indexes were established.2.Results of Delphi method.(1)Expert positive coefficient.We conducted two rounds,the first round positive coefficient of experts was 95%.The second round expert positive coefficient was 89.5%.(2)Determination of index system.After the first round of expert consultation,two indexes in level two were deleted that were document quantity and the number of years of publication which were below the level one index source feature index.The level two index subject impact index was added below the level one index Indexed index.The significance,feasibility and sensitivity analysis of 4 first level indicators and 15 indicators of the two indicators.The opinion of experts reached a basic agreement.(3)Index weights at all levels.The weight of the source feature index,citation index,indexed index and network communication index were 10.7%,53.2%,17.5% and 18.7%,respectively.The three indexes which were the most important in the level two were influence factor(15.2%),cited rate(12.5%)and the number of foreign databases included(11.9%).3.Comprehensive evaluation of academic influence of 19 Natural Science Journals.The top five journals were Zhengzhou University: Medical Sciences,Journal of Henan University of Science and Technology: Natural Science,Journal of Zhengzhou University: Engineering Science,Journal of Henan University of Technology: Natural Science,Journal of Henan Normal University: Natural Science,4.Comprehensive evaluation of academic influence of 14 kinds of comprehensive science and Technology Periodicals.The top three journals were Journal of Zhengzhou University: Engineering Science,Journal of Henan University of Science and Technology: Natural Science,Journal of Henan University of Technology:Natural Science.5.Comprehensive evaluation of academic influence of 4 medical journals.The top three journals were Journal of Zhengzhou University: Medical Sciences,Henan Journal of Surgery,Journal of Henan University: Medical Sciences.Conclusion1.By using the method of literature analysis,group discussion,expert consultation and analytic hierarchy process,a set of evaluation index system of academic influence of natural science journals was established,which was composed of 4 first level indexes and the 15 level two indexes.In the process of constructing the index system,the positive coefficient of experts was high,the representation was wide,the credibility was high,and the construction process was strict.Each layer of the index system conformed to the logic,and the consistency was good?2.2.Based on the comprehensive evaluation using TOPSIS method,rank sum ratio method and fuzzy set,we made comprehensive evaluation of 19 journals.The19 kinds of periodicals are sorted quantitatively,displayed of the order visually to provide scientific basis for the selection and optimization of Journal management. |
