Research On Digital City Construction And Practice Of In Low-carbon Background

Low Carbon and Digital City are two new concepts of modern urban development. Although their emphases are different, these two concepts share the same fundamental basis of sustainable urban development. This paper first elaborates the connotation and extension of the concepts of the Digital City and Low Carbon from a theoretical point of view. It then adequately proves the rationality and necessity of the integration of the Digital City and the Low-Carbon City, and discusses some key technologies for the Low-Carbon City and the Digital City, and then conducts a major fusion research of Low Carbon and Digital City technologies on aspects of urban planning, urban energy, urban architecture, urban transportation and so forth. Finally, it builds a platform and conducts experiments for Digital City construction in the context of Low Carbon. Take a county for instance:it sets up a scientific and efficient spatial information sharing and service platform which achieves spatial data information and resources sharing, enhances the efficiency of city operations, saves energy, meets the management requirement of administrative departments of the government and public needs for geospatial data, contributes to meet the emissions reduction targets set by the national12th Five Year Plan (FYP) and facilitates sustainable urban development. This paper empirically proves a scientific integration of Low Carbon and the Digital City.
