Consecutive fall of children and youth’s physical quality in recent years became a serious problem, which hinders country and nation development and attracts attention of society and researchers. To solve the problem, this study proposes the personalized fitness and health promotion plan for college student,-which is composed of sports education (PE) optional course recommendation, personalized optional teaching and exercise prescription.Propose two recommendation modes of PE optional course. In the first mode, mapping function between test data and development requirements of physical quality is constructed. Effects on different physical qualities of several sports events are surveyed by questionnaire. Combined with the personal development requirements, integrated effect on physical quality of each sports event is calculated. Thus, sports events which have significant integrated effects could be recommended. In the second mode, history optional course grades and test data of physical quality are combined to establish grade prediction models by using data mining method so as to provide grade-oriented recommendation.Study the theory and method of personalized PE optional teaching. Objective system of personalized optional teaching is constructed. Teaching plan of a year is formulated, including theory, experience, skill, physical quality, match and evaluation units. Skill unit and skill lesson are further discussed. Personalized optional teaching plan is composed of uniform study, individual exercise, integrated exercise and physical quality development plans. Effects on different physical qualities of optional skill exercises are obtained by questionnaire. A student can choose personalized content and form of skill exercise according to his skill level and physical quality development requirements. Effects on physical qualities of the former three plans are calculated so that physical quality development plan could be formulated accordingly. Personalized evaluating system, which includes physical quality and skill evaluation and considers both test grade and progress, is designed. Rationality of this system is analyzed. Propose several personalized strategies of exercise prescription. First, decide total time and time ratio among different physical qualities according to personal development requirements of physical quality. Second, choose content and form of skill exercise in prescription based on personal exercise plan in optional course. Third, decide detailed exercise time and content according to personal habit and course scheduler. Provide organizing form, monitoring mechanism and evaluation mechanism of personalized exercise prescription.Experimental study takes basketball as example and gets the following results. First, physical qualities and skill learning effects of students who perform both personalized optional teaching and exercise prescription are much better than those who perform traditional optional teaching or those who perform personalized optional teaching only. Second, individuals study show that students who accept the recommendation could obtain comprehensive development of physical quality. Third, after taking progress into consideration, personalized evaluation system could meet the requirements of different student types and inspire their exercise passion.
