Content: The instruction of playing basketball is an important part of physicaleducation teaching in colleges and universities. Because basketball-playing isparticipative, interesting and competitive, it is deeply loved and welcomed bycollege students, thus becoming the first choice of a life-long sport activity for mostof them. Therefore, how to make college students better, more quickly and morecomprehensively grasp the skills of basketball playing in the stage of teachingbasketball playing in college days so that they can fully use them to experience thejoy of victory and exhibit their youthful charm in school's basketball playingcompetitions and in their leisure time becomes a problem for college teachers whoteach basketball playing to think about and solve. However, in order to makestudents learn and grasp more knowledge and skills about basketball playing,efficiency must be improved. As a result, the best way to solve this problem is tocarry out teaching reform to find a teaching method, which can suit practice andimprove the teaching efficiency better.Through the experiment of the feedback teaching method conducted in thefreshmen basketball teaching in Dalian Polytechnic University, this paper provesthat in the process of teaching basketball playing, especially in the primary stage oflearning basketball-playing skills, namely the generalization stage of formingskills, the application of the feedback teaching method can effectively and quicklyhelp skills and actions to pass to the stage of specialization and automation, shortenthe teaching time of monomial skill, increase teaching efficiency and providereference for the P. E. reforms in colleges and universities.
