| Based on Professor Huguojun’s academic thoughts and clinical experience of treatment of senile frequently-occurring diseases, this research gives an analysis and discussion. By using data mining, the author mines and analyzes Professor HU’s treatment cases of senile frequently-occurring diseases to discover his law of choosing herbal medicine and making prescription, and further explores his academic thoughts, and clinical experience in treating senile frequently-occurring diseases with the purpose to fully absorb and better transit his thoughts and experience and, what’s more, make some innovations.Purpose:after face to face learning in clinic, data mining and analyzing Professor HU’s ways of treating senile diseases, the author can discover Professor’s law of choosing medication and making prescription, further explore his thought and clinical experience, and exert them independently in clinic as well as make some innovations and provide some more better ways and new thoughts.Methods:Exploring and analyzing Professor Hu’s theoretical thought of treating senile diseaseCollecting and archiving Professor Hu’s clinical experience of treating senile disease, making study and analysis2.2.1 building up the data base of the patients’cases:based on the information data base platform self-developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, build up the block of famous experienced doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, input the 260 prescriptions into the data platform, thus become a case data base.2.2.2 Data mining:count the frequency of using a single herb, the inter-information of different herb pairs, calculate connection coefficient, and obtain the visible pictures of stomach illness through analysis of the complicated internet information.2.3 Clinical efficacy of Xiaoxianxiong Tang with Banxia Xiexin Tang in treatment of old age chronic atrophic gastritis.ResultaProfessor Hu’s academic thoughts of treating senile diseases:with the age going by, the change of living environment, senile diseases’etiology and pathogenesis changes as well. There are quite a lot who suffer from pathogenic factors as well as the accumulation of old illness. The accumulation of old illness is closely related to the living environment, food, emotion and aging. The old illness usually lives in the five organs and six viscera, hinders channels, fail the function, thus thousands of kinds of diseases come into being. The treatment should be a balanced way, to delete the old illness and evil to help transport qi.Professor Hu’s clinical experience:according to the state of evil domination and body deficiency, he usually use the way of mainly eliminating evil, or with the help of supplement with tonic. Tts treatment is usually syndrome differentiation of zang-fu viscera:by nourishing yin and tonifying yang, activating the middle energizer and resolving dampness, descending lung-qi, soothing the liver and promoting the circulation of qi, the transmission function of large intestine can be recovered.3.2.2 The treatment of senile gastric can be divided into the old one and the new one. If it is at the very beginning, the treatment lies in the channels. It is the treatment of qi for, on the one hand, soothing liver and descending lung-qi, moving the qi of the whole body to dispel the stagnation of qi in the stomach, thus get recovery of gastric disease; on the other, refreshing spleen and stomach, letting the bitter and spicy taste become fragrance, soothing qi and thus clearing damp and circulating qi. If an old illness, the treatment should be on the collaterals. It is the treatment of blood. The prescription should be Shixiao San together with Huoluo Xiaoling Dan with some herbal medicine plus or minus to activate the stagnate blood in the collaterals to sooth pain.3.2.3 Senile insomnia:the pathogenesis of insomnia is deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality. The treatment should be on supplement the deficiency and draining the excess, adjusting the balance between yin and yang. The drainage of excess should be clearing liver and draining fire, resolving phlegm and clearing stagnation, promoting digestion. The supplement of deficiency lies in the heart and spleen by using Guipi Tang with some herbal elements plus or minus; the imbalance of heart-yang and kidney-yin appears, Tianwang Buxin Dan should of course be used. The treatment of insomnia is mainly about adjusting the balance between yin and yang.3.2.4 Senile dizziness:Senile dizziness usually will lead to cerebral infarction, cerebral arteriosclerosis, cervical spondylosis, insufficient blood supply to brain etc. clinically. The pathogenesis lies in wind, fire, phlegm, stagnation, deficiency, so the treatment should be the balanced combination of supplement and drainage. Among all the pathogenesis, phlegm stagnation is most commonly seen clinically. The possible prescriptions can be Tianma Gouteng Yin and Banxia Baizhu Tianma Tang. If the pathogenesis of dizziness is mainly a combination of deficiency and excess, clinically, we should balance the proportion between strengthening the body resistance and eliminating evil. During the stage of attack, mainly eliminate evil; while in catabasis, mainly strengthen the body resistance.3.3 Discussion of Professor Hu’s experience of treating senile diseases by using data mining3.3.1 The most frequently used clinical herbal medicines Professor Hu chooses to use are the following 15 ones, including:Huanglian, Fabanxia, Zhike, dandelion, Chaihu, Huanqi, Huanqin, Hanliancao, Baishao, Xuanfuhua, Baizhu, Houpu, lily, raw oyster, dry ginger. The frequency is above 30 times, mostly used to dissolve phlegm, cleare damp and heat, and circulate qi, which shows Professor Hu’s experience and academic thoughts of eliminating evil and stimulating transportation of qi.3.3.2 In treating senile diseases, Hu’s most frequently used pairs of herbal medicines are 22 couples. These pairs are sometimes supplement each other, or sometimes both opposite and complementary to each other, or cold as well as warm, or ascending together with descending, among which there are a lot of herbal medicine couples of lining qi transportation, dissolving phlegm and clearing damp, clearing heat and draining fire, which is in agreement with the treatment of the diseases related to phlegm, heat, stagnation and stasis. The discovery is helpful for further understanding Professor Hu’s prescription law.3.3.3 complicated network pictures shows the medications for gastric are including the main ingredients of Xiaoxianxiong Tang and Banxia Xiexin Tang which completely agree with the treatment of the inside collection of phlegm heat as well as complicated coldness together with heat and the weakness and deficiency of spleen and stomach.4. For old age chronic atrophic gastritis,Xiaoxianxiong Tang with Banxia Xiexin Tang can significantly relieve clinical symptoms effectively kill H.pylori.It is better than Weifuchan.5. conclusion:5.1 Professor Hu’s academic thoughts of "pathogenic factors, the accumulation of old illness and eliminating evil and stimulating transportation of qi " on senile disease reflected the pathogenesis of the current senile diseases, with good clinical guidance meaning.5.2 The clinical experience for some certain senile diseases is quite useful and effective. He puts forward " astriction should be treated from Zang-fu viscera"; gastric disease’s "treatment should be the treatment of qi in channels at the very beginning ", which can be realized by treating liver, lung and spleen; "old gastric diseases’treatment should be the treatment of blood in collaterals" with the prescription of the combination of Shixiao San and Huoluo Xiaoling Dan with some herbal ingredients plus or minus; Senile insomnia’s treatment should focus on "the adjustment of yin and yang"; while senile dizziness’treatment should balance supplement and drainage because of the wind, phlegm and stagnation.5.3 The result from data mining shows Professor Hu’s law of making prescription, reflects his academic thoughts and clinical experience of treating senile diseases. It is one of the most important ways for the kind of study directly from clinic to data mine, analyze, explore the clinical experience and the theories of the famous experienced doctors of traditional Chinese medicine by using modern information technology; it is also very meaningful for summarizing the experience of the famous experienced doctors of traditional Chinese medicine. |
