| ObjectiveThis study is aim to summarize the therapy for perimenopausal syndrome through the survey of the typical syndrome of the perimenopausal syndrome due to kidney-yin deficiency, and the correlation analysis of the curative effect of the acupuncture to treat perimenopausal syndrome. Hope to explore the curative effect of acupuncture to treat perimenopausal syndrome and its possible mechanism, then provide evidence of the effect of this therapy and help to find a new therapy method for this disease.Methods90 cases accorded with the select standard of this research were equally randomized into the routine acupuncture group (as the treatment group), the abdominal acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group, both the later two group are the control groups, that is there are 30 cases in each group. All these above contribute to this research being a RCT. Then patients in the routine acupuncture group received acupuncture three time a week, the patients in the abdominal acupuncture group received abdominal acupuncture and the same frequency as the routine treatment group, and the traditional Chinese medicine group took one modifiedformula of zuoguiyin and erzhiwan combination twice day, that is half of the herb water decocted with 400ml water each time. And then use the TCM symptom score to rate the improvement of the TCM symptom, the KI score to rate the improvement of the clinical symptoms and the MENQOL to rate the effect of the life quality of the three therapy. And lastly compared and analyzed the changes of the TCM symptom score, the KI score and the MENQOL score pretreatment and post treatment of these three groups, to compare the curative effect of the three groups.ResultsAs to relieve the perimenopausal syndrome patient’s TCM symptoms and KI symptoms, there’s significant curative effect in all the acupuncture group, abdominal group and the traditional Chinese medicine group (with P<0.05), but the former therapy is better than the later two, and the later two kinds of therapy have equal efficiency (with P>0.05). To be specific, after the treatment, the total effective rate of the acupuncture therapy is 93.33%, the abdominal group 70% and the traditional Chinese medicine 63.33%, which indicates that the treatment group is better than the two control groups and the two control groups have equal curative effect. And as to improving perimenopausal syndrome the patient’s life quality, all the three groups have definite curative effect.and the acupuncture group could improve the state of vessel and psychology and the sexual life better than the abdominal group and the traditional Chinese medicine group (with P<0.05), and the two control groups have equal effect on these aspects. However, as to improving the physiological state, there’s no significant difference among the three groups. Conclusion:Acupuncture to treat perimenopausal syndrome due to kidney-yin deficiency has apparently clinical effect, including improving the perimenopausal syndrome patient’s symptoms and the life quality. Thus it is worthy of clinical application. |
